Angel

Yesterday, I went to see the Christmas window decoration at one of my Neighbours house. The theme was Angel. So with that idea, I started my Card using a Digi image by Mami doodles. I distressed the pattern paper with some Antique linen Distress ink. Colored my Angel and embossed the Sentiment inside the star. I used lots of Stickles in Diamond and crystal clear on the Star and the wings. For the Blue BG, I crushed some Color core paper and rubbed it. Love this effect. To finish some Twine in Cream and a Purple button.

It looks so pretty in real Life. I am submitting it for following challenges:

Fascination.....

Hello Friends....Today I want to share something about my Girls (14 and 6)...both love GLITTER. Be it on Shoes, clothes, jewellery, Ruffles, pins :) So in the beginning, I use to oppose their choices, cos I love CAS and soft colors. Now I can see there choice is growing over me...Hold on!!!! I am not talking about clothes or Shoes....Its the Cards....everything has to have Glitter on it. Anyway who minds....'Tis the Season....

So onto my card, I stamped my favorite( another Fascination) Musical background with Gold ink on white, then Stamped these lovely leaves with green Ink. Now the fun begins....
Added 2 colors of Glitter on my leaves. Cut the Ornament after stamping it with  black but used the reversed side of it cos I wanted to emboss another stamp ( PTI Border) on it with Gold ep. Then Embossed some Star Ornament with Red eo. on Antiqie Gold paper. Hanged all of them on the branches, Embossed the sentiment in red. To finish, adhered some Ivory pearls and some Twine bows.

Supplies: Stamps- Heroarts and Papertrey , Embossing powder- Ranger and Judkins,  Pearls- pizzazzaplenty

Hope its all clear in the closeup. I am submitting it to the following Challenges:

Oh what Fun it is to Ride.......Sleigh!!!

Today after so many days, there was some Sunshine but to my surprise my happiness was short lived because I was determined to take the photo of this special card( which is also a Decoration piece for my side Table) in the bright Sunlight for the last three days. Anyhow....finally I had to do it in dull light :(
Nevermind, I want to share it, thou it's a long post but I hope you would enjoy:

I started with the outside of this long card by stamping the Holiday house, then masked the houses and stamped the Pine tree from the same stamp set using pine needle and peeled paint Distress inks. Stamped the snowflakes in both the sizes. I then colored the houses and used glitter for the snow and glossy accent to give that shine on Windows and Door. I used another glitter for the Glittery snow. To finish, some small Rhine stones on the big Snowflakes and Stickles on the smaller. You can see the effect on the closeup.

Now hold on...lets see whats inside??? let me open it for you:)
Here it is...my first pop-up card. Isn't it cute? So for the inside, I stamped these cute Deer on Kraft paper and did a bit shading with color pencil. Cut them out and adhered a small Red bling on the nose, some glossy accent on the Anteleer and Hooves. Now for the background scene, I did it almost the same as the front.
Hope these closeups gives you better details...believe me, there are many.
Did you notice those Rosy Cheeks and the Twine scarves wrapped around the neck?
Finally the Sleigh: I dont have any stamp for it, so drew it myself. Cut it out on Pattern paper from Basic grey. Put some Gold and Platinum glitter for the Mettalic n glittery effect. For the parcel, embossed the Dots and Flowers background stamp with crystal EP., cut them and colored with distress inks. Tied them with some gold and silver thread. Then added the Red thread for the Deers to pull the Sleigh full of Christmas gifts for us all :))
Supplies: Stamp- Hero Arts, Ink- Ranger, Versafine, Bling and Twine- Pizzazzplenty
Guess What Music was in my mind while making it...Didn't check the Title??? It is: Oh What Fun It Is To Ride on a .....Sleigh. Which is the theme at Weememories. Love the challenges there.Since this card is all Glittery, I am submitting it for the new Moxie Fab World challenge: Glitter is Glam and the EBTKS Challenge: Textures ( Glitter and Flock )

Musical Red and White

Hello friends,  I want to share these 2 cards. I chose the colors from the PDCC 58 challenge....

Love this combo. My theme is from the challenge at Wee Memories....love the song "OH Christmas Tree".

Here is my first take on both:

I embossed the background white on white with one of my favorite Magical background stamp. Now the fun part. Made this tree with TRed and White glitter....love the effect and festive shine of it. To finish put a Star bling and some Baker's twine and a border, again with Red glitter. Hope you can see this lovely glitter in the closeup.
For my next Card, I used the same color from PDCC but while listening to the Christmas Tree song, I remember the Ornaments and while decorating the Tree....Music in the air.
I embossed white on white with my favorite Music background stamp. Distressed the edges with Fired brick ink and spritzt of perfect pearl. It gives such a lovely soft shine. I then embossed this lovely Ornament with Red ep. To finish some Red ribbon and a bow.

Supplies: Inks and embossing powder: Ranger, Stamps: Hero Arts, Ribbon and Twine: Papertrey
Since both my cards have plenty of Textures, I am submitting it for the EBTKS challenge which is just perfect. I have Ribbon, embossing, Glitter flocking....

I really liked this gingerbread Snowflake at the Moxie fab Trigger photo, so here is what I came up with for the challenge.

I then embossed the ornament, love the white peeping thru this pearly embossing powder and adhered it to another stamped circle piece and adhered this to a Chocolate brown paper. To finish used some Red blings and the shiny cord....my purchase from pizzazzaplenty.....

Something old...something New

I was inspired by Lucy's baby cards for some time now. I had to make a baby card for a friend.
I made it using my oldest supply...this light blue paper and my color pencils. One of the first papers I bought as a set of 5 pastel color papers. My newest is this Baby boy stamp set ( a gift from my teenage daughter...lol). So I think its justr perfect for Lucy's challenge. Thanks Lucy for the lovely challenge and for all the yumm gifts you had sent me. I still just adore them from a distance hoping it will never finish;) Sorry for the bad picture....weather is not so great...tho its covered with Snow everywhere. I am also entering it for the challenge at Yyam's blog as it fits perfectly.

Tag...Is it really???

Well lets find out what I made...it looks like Tag but when you pull it....see for yourself :)
I made these Tags for the current HA challenge, I was waiting for the weather to little bit get better but....finally I had to take photos, which btw. aren't so great.
Now, when the lower part is pulled down, the Tag becomes a Bookmark....love it. I am going to make these for my Daughters friends....
Distressed the BG with Broken china and Shabby shutters distress inks and spritzt it with Perfect pearl water. Stamped the Swirly Stars with Silver ep. and Sentiment with Red. For the pull-out, I stamped the Snowflakes with white ep and adhered my Pingu, which I had stamped on other paper and put some diamond stickles on cap n the Neck wrap.

Hope the delicate glimmer of perfect pearl water and The stickles are visible in the closeup.

I distressed the bg with Antique linen, Fired brick and Aged Mahogany distress inks and then spritzt my Florish bg stamp with Gold perfect pearl and stamped. I hope you can see the shine in the closeup. It looks so pretty. Then I embossed the Ornament with some glittery Gold ep and some stars with gold ink. For the pull-out, I distressed it with AL and FB distress inks, then spritzt it with gold pearl water. Embossed the sentiment with Red and some stars in the BG with gold ink. Hope you like it.
Hope the glitter and Gold perfect pearl is visible in the closeups.

Thanks for looking, please leave your sweet comments, its really motivating.

Christmas cards everywhere.....

Somehow I am falling short on time. Everytime I see a challenge or such lovely Christmas cards on the bloggyworld my hands itch but time....where to find it??? and then my little one asked me to makle Angel cards for her teachers and some of her favorite Pingu's( Penguins) too. So here is what I came up with.
I embossed the Music background with some crystal ep. put some Diamond stickels on the wings, distressed the white paper behind Angel with some Tumble glass Distress ink and assembled all together. It look really pretty as its all glittery.
This is almost same as above except I inked the BG stamp with my distress ink...its gives a lovely effect. This time I used Crystal stickles.
For this card I stamped the Magical bg. with some Antique linen distress ink. then Stamped these lovely n cute Penguins on watercolor paper and colored using my distress inks. For the snow I put some glitter. Some Stickels on the scarf n Cap for all that glittery effect. This cute little one is made with shrink plastic and stuck with a glue dot. I added the score tape and put glitter for the frame, again lots of lovely sparkle.
This card is made using the same techniques as above, just some color changes. All these cute sparkly blings and silver pearls( adore them) were a purchase from pizzazzaplenty.
So I am submitting my cards for the following challenges:
