Happy Birthday

I got my new Hero Arts stamps from the last win and got sooo excited, that I had to play around with them. Thanks you Hero Arts.

So like a kid, I started thinking, which image to choose but since I wanted to ink them all...I used 3 on my card.
I am submitting this to the following challenges:

Wow Embossing powder Challenge: Monochromatic and Heat Embossing (I embossed my BG stamp with light blue embossing powder)
Moxie Fab World Card Design Handbook week: Focal Point (I gave a different shape to my focal point window, it looks just perfect with the Diamond background stamp. Then those floral meadows are given slight shading to create dimension n depth, to me it just draws the eyes. What do you say??)
Simon Says Challenge Blog: Anything Goes

My card:

I stamped the square background using pale blue embossing powder and inked it using the Summer Distress ink. Then I cut a window and adhered the stamped white CS using 3D foam. I also gave some shadow using color pencils to create the feeling of depth, it gives more life.

Thanks for dropping by:

Supplies: White CS, Water color paper (Canson), Stamps Hero Arts (CG453, CL549, CL611), Inks (Ranger distress inks: Summer collection, Hero Arts Soft Pool), Embossing powder Zing ( Powder), Prismacolor Color pencil, 3D foam

Tuning in to say...

Hi!!!!
Just want to share a quick card today. I started without a design but only an idea for this one but am super happy with the result. Its been some time since I last touched my Lawn fawn stamps, last night I dremt about them...Do you ever dream of stamps???

So here is my card for the following challenges:
Lawnscaping: Create your own patter paper (I used my Chevron stripe stamp and with repeated stamping created the paper)
Moxie Fab Design Book week:The Gallon/Quart/Pint Color challenge (I used Aqua Mist as Gallon, Melon Berry as Quart, Lime green, which is the noice graphic and a small bling in the Radio(sorry the photo cant show the true green color) as Pint)
Moxie fab World: Minty Fresh (Love mint combined with a little Melon berry and a touch of lime green)
CASology Challenge blog: Relax (I need Music to relax me, so its perfect for the theme)

My card: Sorry the colors are looking a bit different then the original. May be will take a new photo tomorrow. I gave a slight shadow to the Radio and like the effect. What do you say??

 Thanks for dropping by!!!

It would be so nice...

...to Sea you!!!Yes, that's right!!! That saying is just perfect for some of my special friends, I made since I started crafting and who are super dear to me. I would love to Sea them ;)
Now I want to share this cute stamp set, one of the newly released 2 Cute Ink stamp by Lil' Inker Designs.  I wanted to color it as soon as I saw this cutie!!! This set has superb sentiments too.

I am submitting this card for the following challenges:
Moxie Fab Card Design Handbook week: Focal point ( The Surfer Crab sits on the sweet spot, The descending Sun Rays to the sweet spot and to me that is the focal point, would love to hear, what you think)
Moxie Fab Card Design Handbook week: Movement (The descending Sun rays takes the eyes directly to the main image, which then draws the eyes to the water flow (also that tiny drop at the edge of the card), which takes it to the wavy sentiment and the diagonal movement of waves takes the eyes back to the main image :)
The Young Crafters Challenge blog: Hot Trends (Sun Rays are so in trend these days, I see them everywhere)

I used the sunburst background from Hero Arts, I used the distress Inks to create the Sea, used some pearl water spritz, it gives a nice shine to the water. A bit of fussy cutting and lots of dimension. Love the end result myself.

Enjoy your week and head over to the Lil' Inker store for lots more Adorable stamps. Thanks for dropping by!!!

Now, you might have come from Judith's blog, if not then start from the beginning at Laura Pryor's Blog.

Today, I am featuring another of the three brand new 2 Cute Ink stamp sets. This adorable owl is from the Birthday Owl Stamp Set. I like the sentiments and the extra images, would be great to create your own pattern paper too! I made 2 Cards for you.

For my first card, I colored the image with Copics, cut and layered using 3D foam. I embossed the sentiment using white embossing powder, so to keep the design simple and let the image speak for itself :)

For the second card, I used the faux letter press technique for the front panel. I like the white polka dots on light blue background, which gives a cool effect. Again, colored the images with Copics. Used some embroidery floss so that the owl can hold the strings under his wing :)

This is how the set looks. All the sets are available in the  shop HERE.

Hello everyone! Welcome to the 2 Cute Ink by Lil' Inker Designs August Release Blog Hop!! I'm so excited to share the release of our new 2 Cute Ink and The Sugar Kissed Cottage stamps. You should've come from Alyssa Scritchfield's blog, if you didn't, please start over at the Laura Pryor's Blog.

Today, I am featuring one of the three brand new 2 Cute Ink stamp sets. This cool turtle and his crabby friend are brilliant together and the sentiments are just perfect fit !

I created a wall hanging for you to show how versatile these stamps can be. I'm going to hang this in my daughter's room 'cause her eyes lit up when she saw this. I colored the image and the scene with Distress Inks using pearl water. I used some crafty sand for the ocean base, it has got some glitter particles, which look fabulous. The underwater foliage in 2 size along with some water waves are just perfect to create an underwater scene :)

The side view for the dimensional effect

Oh!!! Did you notice Mr. Turtles Glasses??? I used some glossy accents over them.

The full set looks like this and if you click on the graphics, it will take you to the store. These sets are all available from today.

It was a wonderful place, I will share some photos later.

Now onto my card, I used my new Penny Black stamp...love this flower. I colored it using Copics, layered it...put it inside the embossed frame. I even colored my Card base using the new Summer distress ink picked Raspberry and Worn Lipstick. It looks so pretty in real.
