Happy New Year in NEON

Hello everyone!! I know...I know, I am not blogging much but with kids and hubby at home for 2 weeks, I hardly get any ME time ;) And we are re-organizing our bedroom/office space too. I have to make my craft table more useful...
And finally it's snowing here...we already have about 20 cm snow and it's snowing more n more :) The temp. yesterday night was -11

So, here is a card, which is on the Imagine Crafts blog today! Check out the full tutorial and supply list HERE.
And this is how I got inspired to create this card....I've always loved soft colors and never thought I could love Neons, ever!! When Imagine Crafts introduced the new Radiant Neon inks last year, I was a little bit scared to try them but I did give them a go. Little did I know that I will fall in love with this line of ink! LOL So for my New Year’s card, I used my favorite Radiant Neon inks along with the subtle shimmer of the Shimmer Spritz Sparkle and the recently introduced Radiant Neon irRESISTible Pico Embellisher

Year 2014 was quite good to me in terms of Crafting. I worked with some of the best teams, I got published a lot including covers of the magazines.  Also I got published in the magazines in UK. Most of all a dream came true, when I was picked a World Card Making Day 2014 winner by Paper Crafts& Scrapbooking magazine. Hope the new year will bring more challenges and new adventures :) Do keep checking my blog...I have some special things coming up :)

I wish you all a Happy New Year 2015! Enjoy and Have fun!

Coffee Lovers' Blog Hop

Hello and welcome to the Coffee lovers' blog hop. I am joining in the fun with some card-makers, who share the love of COFFEE!!
The fun starts at Amy's blog HERE.

For my card, I used the sketch by DCWV stack-o-holic challenge, as I recently got some stacks by them in my World Card Making day prize. Love the papers. Then I used my one and only coffee kind of stamp set by paper smooches :) I stamped the coffee beans, fussy cut and applied some ImagineCrafts shimmer spritz and irRESISTible Pico embellisher to create the embellishments. I know it's not all snowflake and stuff but I love glitter during this time of the year, so this card has plenty of glitter in real life :) And somehow, I had to add the cocoa beans as my embellishments...lol

My card:

Thanks Amy for organizing it! You can find the inlinkz to link your card and all the details at Amy's blog.

Hello and welcome everyone to a very special hop. This hop is featuring all the Paper Crafts & Scrapbooking magazine World Card Making Day 2014 winners. Thanks Holly for organizing it! I was (and still am) so very excited and honored to have won this title. It is a big crafty DREAM come true :)

As you all know that the magazine is closing its doors and sadly the April 2015 issue won't be published. That's why the fifteen of us decided to do this hop so we could get a chance to share our winning cards with you all!
Here is a wonderful badge of all of us, which Virginia created.

You should've come from Tosha's blog. If you didn't, hop over to Jamie's blog for the beginning of the hop.

Here is my card which got chosen for the "Thank You" category. I used the "Multi-Inking Technique" to stamp the flowers and leaves. I really like how this card came out:

Thank you Holly for the photos.

To celebrate, I'm having a give-away on my blog, it's open to Internationals too {photo below}. To be eligible to win, please follow my blog (if you don't already) and leave a comment on this post by the 10th of December. I will pick a winner on the 12th :)

Paper Crafts & Scrapbooking Magazine Special Thanks! Blog Hop

Hello and welcome for a special blog hop to thank everyone from the Paper Crafts & Scrapbooking Magazine for the inspiration they provided us all. Sadly, the magazine's closing but our printed magazines and the memories  will always remain with us :) Talking about {memories}: sleepless nights before the submission, waiting for the fb parties, refreshing the page a *zillion* times to check our mail box, nervous chatting with friends, and hopefully a happy dance in the end...I sure will miss that all!
I made many good friends, thanks PC&S!! I was also excited every time I saw my magazine in the letter box...I'd walk around the house holding on to it the whole day long...lol ;)
Thank you PC&S for pushing me to my limits, to broaden my horizon and step out of my comfort zone.

You should've arrived from Danielle's blog. If you'd like to start from the beginning, there's an inklinkz on bottom.

Now to my card: It may seem inappropriate that the sentiment is "smile" but I think we can say "smile because it happened". So even though I'm sad, I'm still smiling :)

The next stop on the hop is Jen's blog. Happy hopping and wishing the PC&S team happy future!

Here's the whole list:

Direction:

Apply Luxe ink in wedding dress directly onto the base and circle.

Apply irRESISTible Pico embellisher in black onto the number panel. This gives a nice dimension.

Apply some Radiant Neon inks through the MFT stencil using finger dauber, let dry.

Keep the stencil back and then stamp the background using Versafine Onyx Black ink. Sponge some ink to the edges.

25 Days of Christmas Tags

Hello crafty friends!!

25 Days of Christmas Graphic

The sweet Tracey McNeely invited me to play along with her 25 Days of Christmas Tags feature that she has had on her blog the last several years!  Tracey is an incredibly talented designer, and she has gathered together some amazing ladies and  teams to participate for this feature. Thank you so much Tracey, I am so honored. It's such a fun concept! Now she’s got some AWESOME prizes too.

I was so excited to play along and had lots of ideas but unfortunately got flu in the house. Anyhow I did create a tag... LOL

I die-cut the tag and stamped the light bulbs. I then embossed the stars and the sentiment using WOW! Silver sparkle embossing powder. Then I sponged some ink. Colored in all the images including the holly leaves and berries. Easy but I really love it :)

Tracey has created a Flickr Group for you to play along with her – you can find it HERE.  And you’ll find some amazing inspiration as well as other details about the prizes she is giving away on her blog!  Leave a comment here and I will pick one lucky commenter to be entered to win the drawing for prizes on the 28th.  Please leave a comment by the end of the day.

Supplies: Stamp: Lawn fawn (cozy Christmas, Snow Day, Joy to the Woods); Die: Lawn Fawn (Tag, you're it); Ink: Imagine Crafts/ Tsukineko (Memento tuxedo black, bahama blue, VersaMark), irRESISTible pico embellisher (clear); Embossing powder: WOW! Embossing powder (Silver Bells embossing glitter)

Chalkboard Thanks Cards

I am was up at Imagine Crafts/ Tsukineko blog on Saturday but couldn't post my card here as we all got flu and I felt so tired with running nose, fever and cough. Hubby and my younger one are still home. I am feeling a bit better today.
I have a Thank You card for you, we all need these especially at this time of the year. As you all know the chalkboard effect is very trendy these days, so I decided to combine the chalkboard effect with a multi-inking technique. Check out the supply and instruction on the Imagine Crafts blog HERE:

More later, I have so much work to catch up on :) Still feeling tired though...lol

Hello friends!! Today is the day 4 of  A Very Fawny Holiday Week 2014, where the Lawnscaping Challenges team is teaming up with the Lawn Fawn design team to bring you tons of holiday inspiration!
Today, I have 2 cards for you. I really adore these cute stamps by Lawn Fawn and it's so much fun creating with these.

For my first card, I created a shaker element. I used lots of vellum for all my stamping:) I like how Imagine Crafts Brilliance inks look on vellum. Soft and little shimmer.

For my 2nd. card, I did, what I always love....some watercoloring:) I used some of the memento dye inks to color. For the snow, I used pico embellisher in wedding dress and sprinkled some glitter on top. I used the branch for my owl from the Home Sweet Home stamp set and the berries from Joy to the Woods . It is so easy to mix and match all the stamps:)

Make sure to tune in each day to have your socks knocked off! And did I mention, there're prizes?

Smile Gift Card Holder Card!

Hello Everyone!! Today, I am at Lawnscaping blog. I created this fall theme creation. For my gift card holder, I used a vellum bag, which I dry embossed. I die cut some of the leaf dies using vellum and glitter paper. I colored some of the leaves. Then I stamped and colored the images and created this cluster. The flap of the envelope is onto the back side, so you can easily open and close it.

Now the idea of using leaves is for a new challenge at StampNation. I really enjoy playing along their challenges. Do check it out if you want tons of inspiration, tutorials and lot more all in one place :)

Supplies:
Stamp: Lawn Fawn (Into the Woods, Joy to the Woods, Chit-Chat), Dies (Joy to the Woods), Paper: Gold Glitter paper, Vellum; Ink: Imagine Crafts/ Tsukineko (Memento Tuxedo black, Lilac Posies Luxe ink) Glasine bag; Spectrum Noir Markers
