Pinkfresh Studio Stamp & Die Release Blog Hop

Hello and welcome to the Pinkfresh Studio September Release bloghop.

Love love love this release as it has stamps and dies to create for every occasion including Christmas. I am sure everyone has already going to start making Christmas cards soon :). You might have come here from the wonderfully talented Elena Roussakis's blog.
It's gonna be a long post so please bear with me :)

Card 1
I used the "Houseplants" Die. This is such a pretty die, which cuts beautifully. I die-cut the plants using watercolor paper. Then I sponged some distress inks and flicked some gold ink. The result really gave me a smile, hence I stamped the sentiment from the "Playful Animal Friends 1" stamp set. Finally to ground the image I used a stripe of paper from the "Escape the Ordinary" paper pad.

Card 2: Since I really loved this "Houseplants"die, I created another card and instead of adding gold flick, I simply added a little bit of Clear Sparkle Embossing powder. Love love the result. It looks pretty and delicate.

Card 3: Since I took out the "Playful Animal Friends 1" stamp set, I looked at the "Playful Animal Friends 2" stamp set too AND I have to say these two are must have sets for all the fun, whimsical, cute cardlover's :) I was in the CAS cardmaking mode :) I made a few cards using these sets but those are for the next time lol

Card 4: Finally, I decided to do some no-line coloring and this Santa image from " Simple Joy" stamp set was just perfect. There is also a Coordinating "Simple Joy" die to make die-cutting so easy! I like how he is reading all the letters so seriously :) Maybe I will also get a gift or two from him...lol. I used some patterned papers from the "December Days" paper pad. I also cut out a few elements from the same paper pad to add to my scene.

The next stop in the hop is  super talented and sweet Laura Contoni-Bassen's blog.

FSJ: Hello Friend

Hello everyone! Today I have a mixed media card for you using this pretty butterfly image from Fun Stampers Journey

To create this card, I fist cut a white mat layer using the whip cream cardstock. I then stamped the tiny flowers from the Media Artist stamp set using River Stone ink. I stamped these using the 2nd. generation technique so the florals are light in color.
I then stamped the tiny splatters from the same set using Lemon Drop ink. Then I stamped the fun brushstrokes. Now to mute this a little, I applied a bit of whip cream paint here n there and let this dry.
Once dry, I added some splatters using Cosmic Grape silk.
Then I stamped the butterfly from the Beautiful Wings stamp set using black ink. Then I stamped one of the wing layers using Cosmic Grape ink. Once stamped I fussy cut the butterfly and applied Sparkle Silk generously all over the butterfly. Let it dry.

Finally, stampe the sentiment and assemble everything together.

Supplies:
All the products used are by Fun Stampers Journey

Stamp: Brush Stroke, Media Artist, Greeting Trends, Beautiful Wings
Cardstock: Whip Cream
Ink: Lemon Drop, Cosmic Grape, River Stone, Black Licorice

The Ton’s Fall 2017 Release Blog Hop

Hello and welcome to The Ton's Fall 2017 Release Blog Hop! :) I am so excited to share some fun goodies with you.

Love the new products and as you know I love flowers and coloring, so I was beyond excited when I first saw the release ;)

Since a while now, I've wanted to start my new Traveler's Journal from Fun Stamper's Journey and this was the perfect opportunity to play around with the new stamps.

I used the Star Trails and Fresh Cut Carnations to create this. I stamped the background using the bud and stem from the fresh cut carnation stamp and created this faux watercolor effect. It gives a cool background for a start.

For my next card, I couldn't resist doing no line watercoloring for these beautiful magnolias. The flowers are GORGEOUS!! I used my DS and Schminke watercolors for coloring.

The Ton has 24 new stamps, coordinating dies and 6 Couture Mixes for their new Fall 2017 Release which includes up to three free gifts with purchases. For more information on The Ton’s incentive gifts, head over to The Ton’s blog. All new release products are available now!

Finally, the best part of the hop other than all the wonderful inspiration by the team and the guests:
