Merry Christmas Lawnscaping hop

Hello All!! It's time for the Lawnscaping Facebook Inspiration team monthly hop. Since holiday season is fast approching, we have a perfect inspiring color combo for you :) This month we have Reds and Greens!!
You must be here from Sabine's blog else start from Lawnscaping blog.

I love these colors for my holiday cards. So, I cut my cardbase using my Cameo. I used this cute bunny and look, he is holding a gift :) We all love getting gifts...I wonder what he has...is it something crafty for me...lol
Anyhoo, I colored him using my Spectrum Noir pens. Now I love shimmer and shine for all my holiday cards. I used the Glue Pad by Imagine Crafts/ Tsukineko and stamped some snow and covered them with some glitter. I used Red foil paper for behind my sentiment.

You have to go to Kari's blog from here and she has an amazing creation for you :) Here are the links for the hop in-case you miss somewhere..

Make sure to comment at each stop to win some awesome markers as we are being sponsored by Spectrum Noir :)

Diwali Blog Hop

Hello and welcome everyone for this festive hop. Some of us Indian crafters from around the World decided to share our love of paper crafting and create something special  on the occasion of "DIWALI". Thanks Chaitali for organizing this fun hop! You should have come here from Sindhu's blog.

Diwali is popularly known as the "festival of lights". It is one of the most important festivals of the year for Hindus and is celebrated in families by performing traditional activities together in their homes. I explain it to my Swiss friends as Our Christmas...lol....and they understand what it means to me and actually now a few wait every year to celebrate with us and enjoy the home made sweets and snacks.
I don't have any special stamps or products for Diwali, so I was trying a few things. I wasn't very happy with everything but in the end, I love the results. So here are the cards I would love to share with you.

For my first card, I used some watercolors for the background, Imagine Crafts/ Tsukineko Memento Dye ink in co-ordinating colors for multi-color stamping. The stamps are by Lil'Inker Designs and the sentiment is from Papertrey ink

For my 2nd. card I used a Diya as my focal image. Diya is made of clay and we light it in the evening. Actually we decorate the whole house, inside out with it, although now a days electric small lights have taken it's place :). But here I just drew it freehand using my watercolor and brush.

for my last card, since I was trying out various things, I used the same products as my first card and just stamped everything in a different way.

Now the next stop on the hop is the sweet and talented Tasnim. If you find any broken link, pls. go back to the start of the hop at Chaitali's blog.  Happy Diwali to you all!!

Here is the hop order:

Boo!

Hello and Happy Monday friends!

It's time for a new challenge over at Lawnscaping Challenge blog. There is a great theme/ color choice for you to play along. I am pretty sure you are gonna love either of these.

For my card, I chose the Halloween theme. I really enjoyed  making a witch out of the skunk :) Love how this card came along. I created the watercolor background using memento dye inks and colored my images using Spectrum Noir Markers.

Do drop by the Lawnscaping challenge blog to check out what the creative team has come up with and join us. I will be back in a while with another post soon.

Let's Celebrate Gift Bag

Hello Everyone,Today, I am at the Lawnscaping Challenge blog. I created a bag perfect for goddies, small gifts etc. I used sunrise colors to create the background sky, for which I used memento dye inks. Since it's quite festive and fun, I used the seal and let her enjoy and have fun with the ball. Oh!!! I used the snowflake from the same set "Critters in the Snow" to create my ball design.
At the back, I used a tag with a let's celebrate sentiment. The tag is from Tag, you're it die set and the sentiment from 4th. of July stamp set.
The inks are all by Imagine Crafts/ Tsukineko
Since I used the snowflake to create a ball design, I am submitting it for the current challenge at ablognamedhero Challenge - stretch your stamps:)
The color inspiration is by Moxie Fab World WCMD 2014 challenge.

Merry Christmas

Hello and welcome everyone! This week the AIR's at IMAGINECrafts/ Tsukineko are showcasing products by Memory Box.

I really enjoyed creating with products from both the companies.

Here is what I created:

You can check the tutorial and supplies of the first card HERE.

Do you know, where I got my inspiration from? It's WCMD 2014 challenge at Moxie Fab World. Teri has an awesome inspiration photo. I love the geometrical shape and color blocks :)

For my 2nd. card I used the die I got and created a shaker card. I used the pearl black cardstock by Crafter's Companion, which looks pretty IRL.

Hope you enjoyed these cards. Do let me know if you would like a video tutorial for this one.

Happy Birthday!

Hello everyone! Today was a nice and warm weather here. Kids are having Autumn break and hubby also too a couple of days leave. So we were out most of the day....here I am now, sharing a card I created using this cute image by Rachelle Ann Miller from Crafter's Companion. The inks are by Imagine Crafts/ Tsukineko

Since the theme at Simon Says Wednesday Challenge is Watercolor, I am submitting my card for the challenge.
I am also submitting it to the Virginia's View challenge as it asks for a CAS card. I gave all the depth and dimension to this card using watercolors! Do check out her challenges as I always love what she comes up with.

My US readers can look for the supplies at Crafter's Companion US and my European readers can check out the Crafter's Companion UK site.

Thank You!

Happy Monday everyone! Hope you all had fun and did lots of crafting during the WCMD weekend :) It's time to share another card, I made.

We have a new challenge up at Lawnscaping challenge blog and this time the theme is "Patterned Paper".

Allright, so I went a bit out of the box for this one :) I had the cute Snow Day, Hello Baby and Thank You Tags stamp sets on my desk. I used the outline tree stamp to create a floral bouquet :) For the leaves I used the tiny twig from Thank you tags and the flowers are from Hello Baby :)
I stamped the bunny, bouquet paper using Hello Sunshine patterned paper. Now for the sentiment, I just cut the tag from the mat layer and then layered it with some black colored banners.
I used the Memento Luxe inks by Imagine Crafts/Tsukineko. I did some watercolor using my Caran d'Ache Neocolor2!
Really love how this card looks :)
I used the sketch from the Moxie Fab World WCMD challenge. Love it. I created the top arrow onto
the side by layering my die-cut to write my sentiment.

Even though this card has 2 layers, I kept it CAS as Virginia's View challenge asks for CAS cards. Love the themes she comes up with:)
Since I use stamps in an unexpected way (turning the pine tree as my bouquet), it's perfect for Kelly's challenge at Winnie and Walter WCMD contest  and ablognamedhero Challenge - stretch your stamps:)

A layout to share...

Hello friends of the blogland!! Happy WCMD! I know I should have made a card but no time to create today, so I am sharing a layout I finished last night.
I finally finished a layout I was thinking about for some time now. I have lots of photos of my kids and my younger daughter wants me to make an album for her, actually both my daughters want me to make albums for them and gift them once they leave home....COOL idea :) they would remember me then...lol
So, I used a couple of photos from our Italy trip during the Summer break. I picked up some words and just cut them on my Cameo using various fonts. I used some Amy tangerine pattern papers and some from my stash. Misted some Imagine Crafts/ Tsukineko Memento Luxe inks mixed with Shimmer spritz Sparkle.

What do you think of this? I plan to make more layouts in the future.

Thanks for stopping by!
