Studio Katia Autumn Release Blog Hop

Hello and welcome to the Studio Katia new release blog hop!

You should have arrived from Tracy Freeman's blog and Erum Tasneem is your next stop. If you get lost you can find the full hop list below or visit Studio Katia Blog!
Today, I have this cute card using the awesome Pumpkin Shaker die. It has so many various elements to give all kind of playful details.
I started by sponging some inks to create the background. I then die-cut the pumpkin along with the outline and the face and also the leaves.
I embossed the outline using Chocolate Caramel Pearl and Pop embossing powders from WOW!
I then embossed a small scrap piece using Black Embossing Glitter. I adhere this piece behind the eyes and mouth.
Now, I sponged some distress inks to the inside part of the pumpkin and added a bit of Peach Gleam Embossing Glitter. I applied color to the leaves and tendrils using various copic markers.

I adhered everything to the mat layer and adhered this to a white cardbase. I then stamped the sentiment and adhered the cute iridescent butterflies crystals. Finally, I flicked some gold and green shimmer spray.

Heffy Doodle: Marvellous Day!

Hello everyone, today I am sharing a pretty floral card on Heffy Doodle blog using the Blooming Marvellous stamp set from the new release. I am sharing how to color the solid stamps using faux watercoloring and the no-line coloring technique.

To start, I smooched tumbled glass distress ink to the Pinstripe stencil, spritz with water and put it onto a watercolor paper (onk side down). Remove the stencil and we get this light texture effect. Let it dry and die-cut it using the Ovally Excited die.

I then stamped the florals and single leaves using antique linen distress ink onto watercolor paper. I added color to them using faber-castell and Zig clean color real brush pens and a aqua brush.

For the leaves twig, I inked them using various shades of distress inks, spritz water about 2 -3 times from a distance and stamped it onto watercolor paper. Once everything is dry, I die-cut them using the Blooming Marvellous dies.

Adhere the oval to a white cardbase and stamp the sentiment. Stamp and emboss the word Marvellous using Passion Fruit Embossing Glitter by WOW! and die-cut it. Adhere the florals and the leaves to create a cluster of your linking.

To finish, I added some black splatters and nuvo drops. Have a wonderful day!

Studio Katia: Best Day Ever!

Hello everyone! I am on the Studio Katia blog with this CAS card.

I love black cards with a pop of color, although I have to admit that this one was difficult to capture in pics Sorry about that. I started by creating a black panel as the background layer. I stamped the pretty florals using versamark ink and then embossed using the black glint embossing glitter from WOW! Embossing Powder. I then adhered this panel to a peach cardstock. I then die-cut the word Best using the same peach CS. I die-cut the shadow of the best die using vellum and adhered them together. Check out the pretty tone on tone background.

I then stamped the rest of the sentiment and adhered everything to the card. To finish, I adhered some pretty Onyx Crystals. Thank you for dropping by! Have a nice crafty day!

Fun Stampers Journey September Stamp of the Month

Hello everyone! It’s September and I'm so pleased to share Fun Stampers Journey's September Stamp Of The Month: Friendship Blessings

I love this beautiful floral stamp set because the flowers are gorgeous, and they are a great size for various techniques. This stamp set has a coordinating die set too.

I made 3 cards using this stamp set using 3 different techniques. check it out :)
I love this half open flower so much that I had to color it in rainbow colors and then I decided to do a shaker element. The Star-Fetti were the perfect choice as they are tiny pretty stars, which resemble the galaxy theme I have going here :)

Here is a close-up to see the awesome subtle shine sparkle  silk gives. After coloring I added some to the florals.

For my next card, I played with some Liquid Colors for the background. I stamped some of the images directly onto the mat layer and then kept the flower fairly simple.

For my last card, I used the stencil and Liquid colors to create the background. I then stamped and embossed the images using WOW! Embossing Powder Opaque white and colored them using Nuvo Aqua Flow pens.

Here is a close-up for the fun florals.
