I really love this stamp set by Winnie&Walter and also the Kaleidacolor inks by Imagine Crafts :)
I embossed the die-cut using silver embossing powder and love the result. I also used Heidi Swapp stencil to create those stars using iridescent Creative Medium.

Thanks!!

Hello Everyone!!

It's time for this month's Color Challenge at SugarPea Designs. We have a beautiful color combo to play with :)

To create my card, I first created some color wash scraps of cardstock. Once the watercolor was dries, I die-cut the word thanks in all 3 colors and then adhered them onto the die-cut fun foam. I then stamped the background dots tone on tone for added interest to the cardbase. I stamped and embossed the sentiment onto the black cardstock.

A Note of Thanks

Hello Everyone, Today I have a card to share. Now this is something I am really enjoying these days....using my beautiful patterned papers, which I've been hoarding for ages and BOY!!! does it feel good to use them :)

So I used this sketch by The Freshly Made Sketches. They are having a celebration for the 200th. sketch and there are lots of sponsors with prizes :)

I used this new stamp set and dies by SugarPea Designs. I created the patterned paper background using the pencil die from "notebook journal book die". Flicked some black ink onto the white cardbase. Then to create the border for the vellum, I used the edge of the notebook die. I die-cut the ampersand using glitter paper by DCWV and the sentiments are from "Take Note" stamp.

The patterned paper is from one of the Studio Calico card kits!!

Exciting!!! Guesting at WOW!

Hello everyone!
Yes :) it's been a few days of silence here. The schools re-opened and I am getting use to the new schedule and there is a lot to do for my daughters...so hopefully everything settles down by the end of the week.
Anyhoo, I am so excited to share this post with you all as I am Guest designing at WOW! Embossing powder blog today. Not only they have awesome variety of embossing powders but also FAB! Foil and the stamps are awesome too :) So I really had a blast. Thank you Tania for having me on your blog today :)

Let's start with the cards I have for you today! *Sorry for the photos, there is so much glitter and foil that it was difficult for me to photograph them properly* I could use any tips on how to take better photos of my cards :)

Card1
I decided to create a CAS card first, so I stamped the Lace stamp using White Pearl embossing powder. Love the elegant look of it, esp once I inked the corners using my favorite Kaleidacolor ink by Imagine Crafts in Pale Aqua. To create my own glitter paper for the sentiment I just covered a scrap piece of cardstock with VersaMark ink and then embossed it using Calypso glitter powder. It's a beautiful color :)

Card 2
I stamped the Tropical stamp using VersaMark ink. Embossed it using bonding powder and then used Gold Fab Foil and passed it through a laminator. I then sponges some Kaleidacolor inks and then spritz some Shimmer Spritz Sparkle by Imagine Crafts.

Card 3:
I just love this Flight of Fancy stamp. So for this card I went a little towards Autumn. I embossed the leaves using Rainbow Black Glitter embossing powder and then colored in using my Kaleidacolor inks. For my sentiment, I foiled a scrap piece of cardstock using Turquoise Fab Foil and die-cut the word (the smile die is by SugarPea Designs and I love it).

Card 4 (Pink):
For this card I went all soft and pink. Well pink is my favorite color :) and a touch of yellow gives it that extra something.
I embossed the Tropical background using the bright white embossing powder and sponged some ink to create the Ombre look. Stamped the leaves and colored in using some inks. For the sentiment (the smile die is by SugarPea Designs and I love it) I created my own glitter paper using the Metallic gold sparkle embossing powder.

Hope you enjoyed as much as I did creating these cards. WOW! is generously offering a prize to one of the blog readers.  You can win 5 of the newest Glitter Embossing powders. All you have to do is comment here on my blog and at WOW! Blog. We will announce the winners on the 1st. September :)
Please don't forget to add your tips on how to take better photos of my cards!

Awesome!

Hello Everyone,
Today is my day 3 and the final day as a guest over at CAS-ual Fridays...I am so enjoying sharing my cards using CAS-ual Fridays stamps and dies. Today I have a card for you and you can check my post HERE.

I really enjoyed creating for them. Thank you once again Michele.
Today, I used a patterned paper for the background and then die-cut some florals using watercolor paper. I then colored them using my Zig markers in a rainbow of colors.
I masked the sentiment to stamp it in 2 colors and this is what I love about clear stamps...we can allign them :) I used Memento Luxe Bahama Blue by Imagine Crafts for the sentiment.

Hope you enjoyed the last few days here on my blog. Do write to me if you have any questions and anything you want to see me create a video of. More later!!

Watercolor!!!

Hello Everyone,
So, today I am at the CAS-ual Fridays blog again for my day 2 as a guest...I am so enjoying sharing my cards using CAS-ual Fridays stamps and dies. You can check the post HERE to see what I used.

Here is my first card, I just wanted to highlight this beautiful sentiment, so I created this wash of colors for my background and then stamped the sentiment. To create some additional dimension I added some punchinella and a few flicks of inks onto my patterned paper.

For my 2nd. card I used 2 of my favorite stamps. I just love both of them so so much. I like the poem Michele wrote as text and I wanted to create a background with it. I then embossed the flowers, colored in using my Zig Clean color markers. Then I did some watercoloring around the flowers using my Kaleidacolor inks and some memento Luxe wedding dress re-inker.

Do drop by tomorrow for some more fun and I also have a happy news to share soon :)
