Let's get the Party Started

Hello bloggy friends!!

It's Tuesday today and that means time for a new challenge at Cardsundmore challenge blog. The challenge is:
"Tierische Freunde/Animal Friends" You have to use at-least 1 animal

I used the stamp by Hambo Stamps. I love this image and as soon as I saw it this card kind of took shape in my mind. I wanted to play with watercolors, so it was easy. I colored the turtle using some Faber-Castell Design memory Craft Gelatos, stampers Big brush pen and Aquerelle pencils. Then I just finished the background with some splatters.

Playing along the following challenges:
Moxie Fab World: The wonders of watercolors.
It's Michelle's Birthday at CAS-ual Friday: I made a cheerful one layered card. Let the Party begin :)
Pausedreamenjoy Challenge blog: Outdoor critters
Creativeinspirationspaint blog: Anything Goes

See you tomorrow!!!

You are Cool

Today, I am here sharing my card inspired by the current Moxie Fab Tuesday Trigger inspiration photo. As soon as I saw it, I had this technique in mind as it's just like the photo....soft woodgrain effect. Those lovely pinks, browns,  flowers and a touch of silver (which I have on my embossed sentiment)

Here is the trigger:

Here is how I look at it: I couldn't capture the soft woodgrain background in this light, I will take another photo tomorrow.

Find Joy Everyday

Hello friends!!
Today, I played with my new Hero Arts stamp and some Gelatos and created a few cards. For this card, I used black Gelato directly on my stamp. I used the 1st. generation stamping for the lower Vines and  2nd. n 3rd. generation stamping on the top Vines.
I misted my stamp and applied Gelato directly over the stamp. Misted a bit more and stamped. It gives such a nice watercolor effect.

I used the photo from Runway Inspired challenge as my inspiration. Also linking this card at the challenge at:

Worm Wishes

Hello Everyone!!!

I was away for about 4 days. We had fun holidays to Europa-park. It's like Disneyland in Germany. Although I don't go on rides, I enjoy seeing my girls smiling and jumping after every ride....lol.

Anyhow, it's Wednesday and that means a challenge at Hambo Hoedown. I used the Hambo digi stamp: Fish Hooks.
The challenge this week is to create a project that is ANYTHING BUT  A CARD
I created a bookmark. The background paper is created on Word using the hook digi stamp repeatedly. Then, I colored in with my Copics and inked the edges using Distress Ink.

Playing along the challenge at
Simon says Stamp blog: Anything goes
Simonsaysstampandshow: Colors (I used Copic markers and Ranger distress inks)

Hope you play along!!! Have fun :)

Hambo: What's Spinnin'?

Hello Everyone!!! and Welcome Spring! Finally 2 days of nice sunshine. Today I even saw 2 tulip buds opening themselves to greet the Sun.

Anyhow, it's Wednesday and that means a challenge at Hambo Hoedown. I used the Hambo digi stamp: Spider web
The challenge this week is to create a project that incorporates webbing, mesh or thread (not twine).
Webbed ribbon, Magic Mesh (also can use drywall tape), sewing or embroidery thread.
I stitched around my card and also used thread by which Spider is holding onto the web. I tried some misting on this card and the result look nice to me, so I will be trying that out more.

Going out to enjoy the Sun now!!! Have fun :)

Smile and Laugh

Hello everyone!!! So the Spring break started today and actually it was quite warm and nice. I checked the weather and by weekend it's gonna be wet and cold again, so I decided to enjoy a bit. It was a happy day!
I get to put this wonderful honor on my sidebar. Thank you Paper Craft Magazine.

Alright, I am guest designing for the challenge blog "Cards und More" and the challenge is to create a scene. How could I not create a Spring scene with a lovely flower and butterflies, the sky, greens, and that too while playing with my new Faber-Castell Design Memory Craft goodies. I used some Gelatos, PITT Big Brush Pens, PITT Artist Pen. Love how we can mix and match these products to achieve the desired effect. As you know, I tend towards Clean and Simple and here it is again....a CAS mixed media scene. I have my daughters in mind, while creating this as they would always make me laugh and smile. So this page is dedicated to my dear daughters :)
I have to buy an actual journal book for myself now as I am loving these products so much and just want to keep playing...lol

I used my favorite stamp by Hero Arts.

Playing along the following challenges too.

Hero Arts Monthly challenge: Just for Her (this is for my daughters)
Simon Says Blog: April showers/ Spring flowers
