Hello Everyone and Welcome to the Lawnscaping Blog hop!  You should have arrived here from the Tracy's Blog, if not, you can start out here at the Lawnscaping blog!  This month we are working with Reds and Blues :)

I decided to use this stamp set after getting it just a few days back! I used vellum and did some watercolor to create my sea and sky. Love the soothing, soft feel and the slight texture. I used my Simon says Heart stencil for that :)

Here is the list for the rest of the hop:

Fun in the Sun!

Hello Everyone! Today I am up at the Timeless Twine blog. This month we are having a color challenge. The colors are:

06-2014 Aqua Cherry White 01

I used the firecracker Twine, which is a perfect match to this color challenge and I love it so much and really like the knotted effect.  The title comes from our visit to Safari park 2 years back. We saw some zebras and giraffes and it was total fun on a sunny day :) The pattern paper, sun and the sentiments are from our new kit at Bella Creationz!

We would love to see your projects, you can link the HERE and there are fun prizes to win too :)

Imagine Crafts and Altered Pages Blog Hop

Hello and Welcome everyone!!

Each Tuesday during the month of June, IMAGINE Crafts would like to share with you the projects that our Artists In Residence have created using products from Altered Pages. The Design Team at Altered Pages will also be featuring IMAGINE Crafts/Tsukineko products on their blog throughout the month and we hope that you'll visit the Altered Pages Blog to see the fabulous projects that their team has designed as well.

It was so much fun making this card as I did lots of masking and spraying. Love the look of the Dragonfly onto the acetate and the shimmer effect of our firework sprays. I gave him a bit of color using StazOn ink.

How to:

Stamp the Dragonfly onto the Acetate using Ganachè ink and fussy cut.

Color using Fantastix and fuschia ink onto the back side.

Spray Firework spray onto the tag, let dry and then tear the bottom part for a wonderful texture.

Mask the 3 small dragonflies and stamp onto the pattern paper. Flick some of the firework spray onto it as well.
Assemble everything as per the card photo.

Here are the other Artists In Residence featured projects for today:

Imagine Crafts and Dreamweaver Blog Hop

Hello and welcome everyone!

This week IMAGINE Crafts and Dreamweaver Stencils are featuring a Blog Hop showcasing our fabulous products and providing some inspiration for you to get creative! Be sure to leave your comments on each artist's post that you visit for your chance to win a fabulous prize that includes IMAGINE Crafts and Dreamweaver products. Contest closes at 11:59pm PST on Sunday, June15th.

Here is what I created for you today. I got inspired by this painting. Love the vibrancy of Memento Luxe inks for this effect. It looks magical and mystical to me :)

Supplies: Stencil: (LJ 849 Bare trees) Dreamweaver; ; Embossing paste: Dreamweaver; Inks: (Memento Luxe - Love Letter, Lilac Posies, Dandelion, Morocco, Bahama Blue, Wedding Dress, Pear Tart, Rhubarb Stalk) Imagine Crafts Tsukineko; Embossing powder white: Imagine Ctrafts/ Tsukineko; Stamp: Hero Arts

How to:

Apply some embossing paste through the stencil. I love this palette knife by Dreamweaver. It's a good size to spread the paste. Now, you really have to be careful since this stencil is very fine. Else the paste with be everywhere on your project.

It looks like this once you remove the stencil. Let it dry.

Once dry, put the stencil back and then apply various colors of inks using a dauber. Memento Luxe is a highly pigmented mixed media ink, so it gives wonderful paint like feel along with the rich vibrant colors.

Finally, I stamped the sentiment and applied some Imagine Crafts white embossing powder. It's amazing and gives a wonderful detail look.

Here is a close-up of the effect. I took a wood veneer bird and applied the wedding dress ink onto it.

Here are the other posts from the Artists In Residence for today:

Robot on the Beach!!

Happy Sunday :) I hope you all are enjoying the nice weather. We have nice and sunny day and since it's a long weekend....it's time to finish all the pending work too :)
Actually it's quite hot in the sun which makes it a perfect time to be on a beach, if we had one nearby...lol and hence the theme of my card :)

I created a scene with this cute robot who landed on the beach for the first time with his nice new swimming trunks ;) And look how excited he is to find a shell :)
To create the scene, I used the masking and inking technique. I spritz some sparkle spray for that simmer we get when the bright sun rays fall on the sand and water :) I did a lot of fussy cutting too as I don't have the matching dies yet :)

Here is the card:

I am linking this card for the Simon Says Wednesday Challenge as this is a perfect card for a little boy :)

It's the Little Things!!

Really it's the little things that matters a lot. Just a simple smile can make a big difference or a little gesture can give so much satisfaction:)

So today's card is for my post at Imagine Crafts/ Tsukineko. I used the clear Creative Medium in a creative way:) Check for yourself HERE.

Here is my card:

I am submitting this card for the Virginia's View challenge as it's about scraps. I used all the scraps for my focal point and also the  creative medium was applied to a scrap of paper and then cut into strips :)

Till later :)
