Heffy Doodle + Chibitronics Collaboration Blog Hop

Hello and welcome! Today we at Heffy Doodle are having a super fun Blog Hop with Chibitronics! I am sure you all know Chibitronics, they make creating interactive light up cards so easy.

I made a slider interactive card. When we pull the slider panel the heart and the girls jewellery lights up :)
For my card I used the Prehistoric Pals, Bots of Love, Gnome Matter What, Big Bug Hugs stamps along with

I started by die-cutting some grass borders and sponging some distress ink to it. Stamp sentiment.
Take a mat layer and sponge blue and pink ink to create the sky. I then stamped, colored and die-cut the images.
I then took a white cardbase amd created a circut to where I wanted my lights. I made a tiny hole in the heart which the bee is holding and in the girls necklace and adhered vellum from behind.

Here is a close up of the card

This is how the heart and necklace lights up :)

This is how my circuit looks

Here is a short video to see the lights in action!

My Favorite Things Guest: Wednesday Sketch 434

Hello crafty friends! I am so super excited and thrilled to be a guest for My Favorite Things this month!! Today is my 4rd. sketch challenge post :)

We have a lovely sketch for you. Sketches are a good starting point if you are struggle to start on a card design. Check out all the info about how you can win a 50$ gift voucher on MFT blog

For my card, I used some products from the brand new April release and combined it with one of the March release stamp. I started by creating a artsy background using distress oxide inks to the GORGEOUS "All Lined Up" background stamp. I then stamped the flowers and leaves from the Painted Petals

stamp set and fussy cut them. I stamped the centers using the same colors of distress oxide inks as the background.

I stamped and embossed the sentiment using WOW! Opaque white embossing powder to a stripe of paper and then added some distress ink to match the pink of the cardbase.

To finish, I used some Gorgeous sparkling crystals by Studio Katia.

Hope to see you play along the challenge. For more information, do check MFT blog. Thank you My Favorite Things for having me as guest this month :)

You’re the Best Interactive Card: Heffy Doodle

Hello everyone, today, I have a fun interactive card on Heffy Doodle Blog using some adorable stamps and dies along with Chibitronics.

I used images from Dinky Dinos, Dino Time, Hootiful, Whatcha Sayin', Prehistoric Pals stamp sets along with the coordinating dies. I also used the Grassy Lass Border die and Swirly Clouds dies.

I started by stamping and coloring the images using copic markers. Die-cut them. I die-cut the grass and sponged them using distress inks. Now, I die-cut the clouds.

Onto a white mat layer, I placed the elements and marked where I wanted my switch and lights. I then made a circuit with the help of Chibitronics booklet instructions.

On the mat layer, I sponged a bit of blue sky. Die-cut the speech bubble, adhered vellum from behind and stamped the sentiment. I cut the inside of the tree trunk too and adhered vellum behind it.

Assemble everything together. I wrote PRESS on one of the stones as that is where my switch is. When you press the switch the magic happens and the lights light up :)

I have a small video to see it in action too. Here is the link to the video.

Hope you enjoyed the card. Happy crafting!

My Favorite Things Guest: Wednesday Sketch 432

We have a lovely sketch for you. Sketches are a good starting point if you are struggle to start on a card design. Check out all the info about how you can win a 50$ gift voucher on  MFT blog

For my card, I used some products from the brand new April release and combined it with one of the older stamp.  As soon as I saw this sketch, I got Photo Booth Strip Die-namics in my mind. I wanted to create a shaker card. I used Sweet Spring Friends Stamp set along with Sweet Spring Friends Dies. I also used the Distressed Patterns stamp set from the previous releases.
To create the shaker, I used some pretty sequins and iridescent dust by Studio Katia.

My Favorite Things Guest: MFT April Release

Hello crafty friends! I am so super excited and thrilled to be a guest for My Favorite Things this month!! It's like a dream...YAAAY!!!
Thank you Stephanie and the MFT team :)

The new release from MFT is now live, we are showcasing some wonderful inspiration with you all!

For my first card I simply wanted to play with this adorable tree image from the Sweet Spring Friends stamp set. I stamped them and colored using copic markers. I then flicked some white ink to them. Now, die-cut the images using coordinating dies. I based my card on the sentiment as we actually were having a rainy spell and after rain comes the sun and bring the rainbow along with it :)
To add emphasis on the sentiment I popped the tree under it using 3D foam. I stamped the grass from the Scene Builder stamp set and sponged some shabby shutters distress ink to ground the trees.

For the next card, I used the cute bunny image from the Sweetest Somebunny stamp set and the little bunny from the Sweet Spring Friends stamp set,  they go so well together. I used the grass stamp from the Scene Builder stamp set to create the base for the bunnies. You will love this stamp set as it's perfect for so many styles. For this card, I did some masking and sponged the sky and ground. I then added some score lines to frame the scene. I stamped the images using light colored distress ink as I wanted to do some no-line coloring. I used Derwent Inktense pencil colors to add the color. Finally, I stamped the cute little florals as an accent and wrote the sentiment onto the new Fishtail Flag Trio Die-namics die.

For my last card, I used this cute piggy from the Piggy Pebbles stamp set. It stole my heart with the flower in it's hand...lol I stamp it using light color ink as I wanted to do no-line coloring. Using my Zig clean color real brush markers, I colored in the image and die-cut it. I then created this window using the Rectangle Peek-a-boo window die from previous releases. I stamped the sentiment and a tiny bit of grass from the  Sweetest Somebunny stamp set. To finish, I added some adorable floral sequins by Studio Katia.

These are just some of the AWESOMENESS being released today. Check out the MFT blog for a lot more products and inspiration :) Thanks for stopping by! Have a nice day!

My Favorite Things Guest: Wednesday Sketch

Hello crafty friends! I am so super excited and thrilled to be a guest for My Favorite Things this month!! It's like a dream...YAAAY!!!

So, it's a Wednesday and we have a lovely sketch for you. Sketches are a good starting point if you are struggle to start on a card design. Check out all the info about how you can win a 50$ gift voucher HERE.

There are no fix rules like in my example, a rectangle shape doesn't have to be a rectangle. I simply visualize a rectangle on my card and built my card keeping the elements in that shape. instead of the banner, I simply took the hello word die-cut and adhered to the card.

For my card, I went for a mixed media and no line coloring look. I stamped the GORGEOUS Painted Petals images onto a white cardstock, colored them with copic markers and faber-castell polychromos pencil colors. I then fussy cut the images.
Now, I added some modelling paste through the Small Brick Wall stencil, I applied it only where I had imagined my rectangle will be :)
Let dry and then add some blue color to create the base for the florals and leaves. Adhere the images.

I adhered the sentiment and to finish adhered some pretty Cupid's Kiss crystals by Studio Katia.

Hope to see you play along the challenge. For more information, do check MFT blog. Thank you My Favorite Things for having me as guest this month :)

Altenew 5th Anniversary Blog Hop Day 1 + Giveaway

Hello and welcome everyone! I am super excited and delighted to be a part Altenew 5th Anniversary Blog Hop Day 1 over at Altenew.

Time sure does fly. I still remember when Tasnim and Jen started the company and for me it was love at first sight. I've loved their product since. Congratulations Tasnim and Jen! Here is to many more celebrations.

Now, you might have come here from the very talented Barb Engler's blog. I not start at the Altenew Card Blog.

Let's start :) I went for a CAS style for my first card along with a shaker window for an added interest. I used the GORGEOUS Leaf Medallion Die as my focal image. I die-cut the inside part of this 2 part die and backed it with a lovely pattern using the paper from the New Day Card Kit. I then die-cut a window from the center and created a shaker window. I die-cut the word "HUGS" from the
Script Word Dies and adhered it to the card.

Here is a close up to see this pretty pp.

For my 2nd. card I used lots of different products and went for my favourite mixed media kind of look :) I did some no-line watercoloring for this card. Love how it turned out.

I used Leaf Medallion Die once again to create a base for the floral cluster. I used Sketched Lines Stencil for the background. For the flowers, I used the Delicate Primrose stamp set with the Delicate Primrose die and the Engraved Flowers stamp set. For colouring I used the Daniel Smith watercolours. If you like my creations, lets become friends on Instagram, where I share many more :)
