Happy Birthday

My 2nd. post for today. Yay!!! Well I really enjoyed creating these 2 cards today and actually am very happy with the results. I made this card for the challenges at Annabelle stamps blog: Say it in- Orange and Lime and A Blog named Hero (I never used this stamp and it was time to dust it off and use it...lol.) Since its spring and flowers are blooming everywhere in the garden, I am submitting it for the challenge at the Stempel Garten Blog: Theme is Garden

So I did a lot of fussy cutting and plenty of dimension but the result is something I just love. Hope you will like it too. I used the Squared Posies stamp from Annabelle stamps.

Thanks for stopping by here:)

Tweet Me

How Tweet is this sentiment:) I like it a lot. So I quickly want to share this card which I made for the following challenges:
CAS-ual friday: Punchy - I used the die cut bird but dont forget to look at the special border punch stitching:)
Moxie Fab: Card Creation: The Gingham challenge -  I die cut the Bird on a gingham pattern paper.
Moxie Fab: Card Creation: The splatter challenge - I just put some splatters for a soft look.

My card:

I used a edge punch from EK success and then turned my strip of paper punched the opposite end keeping the holes aligned. Once the strip was punched bot the sides, I did some cross stitching. It really gives a lovely effect. When I looked at the card after attaching the bird, I could only imagine her saying Tweet Me...lol

Thanks for taking the time to visit my blog:) I do appreciate the love you leave for me here.

Hello my creative n talented friends!!! Today actually we have a holiday in Switzerland so I should normally wont be creating in my craft room but today its a different story all together. My elder daughter and myself created a few cards...love that:)

Today I created yet another interactive card...its a Flip-flop card. I used the inspiration from the current Embellish magazine Challenge.
I am also submitting it for the CAS challenge at Simon says challenge blog.

Supplies: Stamp (Practicing Creativity, Hero Arts); Inks (Jenny Bowlin, Memento); Bling; Fiskars punch, Nestabilities

Hope you like my creation. It was fun creating. Thanks for dropping by!!

Home Sweet Home

That is so very true. Home is a place where we feel relaxed, at peace...no matter how wonderful the holidays are...it feels so good to be back home...lol.
So for my card I used the Jane's doodle stamp. It has lovely, whimsical houses. It was fun creating this card.

I am entering it to the Clean and simple challenge at Simon says stamp blog.

You Moooove me

Yes!!! All your sweet comments really moooove me and that is the reason behind this particular card. I love this stamp set from Lawn Fawn so much and of coarse creating  CAS cards....so to give the CAS card a bit of special touch, I masked the square and made a small scene with hills...dont you just love em! I put some twine around the Cow's neck as the belt for the bell as it really looks wonderful.
I am entering it for the following challenges:

Pop-up flower Card

For our mini blog hop please click HERE!!

Happy Mother's Day to all you Moms out there...you all are doing a wonderful job of bring up the future World...Hmmm!!! This sounds like I am doing a important job, well to think of it...it is important and I always pray to God to show me the path so I can bring my kids up to be wonderful human beings.

Now, I want to share this card I made for 3 of the Moxie Fab challenges:

For my card front, I masked a strip and stamped the BG with Gold ink, then I scored the border of the masked strip. Attached the hand made lace flower.

But wait! That's not all. I decided to decorate the inside as well. I made some 3D pop-up flowers, so when you open the card, it looks like this:

I stamped the BG using Shadow ink and brushed some gold perfect Pearl. It gives a really delicate shine in real but I couldn't capture that in the photo.... :(

Thanks for dropping by!

3 Designers, 1 Stamp Set (Mini blog hop)

Welcome to this mini blog hop! Marie, Britta and myself are showcasing the stamp set “Critters on the Farm” by Lawn Fawn! You should have come from the sweet and talented Marie's blog.

I had this idea for quite some time, but was hesitant because I never made this kind of folded card. Finally, I took the courage and made this step fold card which is perfect to create a scene. After making this card, I felt I was part of the scene, somehow. It seems so peaceful and all about loving life, hence came the sentiment. It comes from this stamp set.

I really enjoyed creating this card. The next stop on your hop is the wonderful Britta.

We have been sponsored by Lawn Fawn, and we are giving away a “Critters on the Farm” stamp set to one lucky winner. Thank you Kelly Marie!! Be sure to comment at each blog for your chance to win. You have till May 14th (Monday), at 11:59 pm CDT time, to leave your comments. The winner will be announced on May 16th.

To start from the beginning, and to see how you can get some extra chances to win the prize we are offering, please go to Marie’s blog.

Hope you are inspired by our mini hop. Thanks for dropping by!

Lets Chill

My first card for the "Fold It, Pop It, Flip It, Zip It!" class.
I don't usually make shaped cards, so this is fun experience! Julie showed us to make this free standing platform card, which actually fits a normal envelop when folded. I am submitting it for the challenges at Hero Arts and Moxie Fab Card Creation Week (Splatter Challenge)

Here how it looks folded. I just love the colors and the splatters, which I created using my home made mist.Oh!! I used my first Washi Tape too:)

When you pop it open, it can sit on the table and I just love that. I did a lot of Copic coloring and had a fun time.

Hope you like it too. Thanks for dropping by and if you have any questions, feel free to ask in the comment section:)

My Love

Here is another card I made while enjoying the Spirit of NSD yesterday:) Since I had my new Paper Smooches set Hubby and Wifey out and it has so many possibilities, I thought of making this card for the following challenges:
Paper Smooches Blog: NSG Contest- Card Stock Only

So when I look at the Cake base stamp, it could make a frame for my image I thought, what do you think of it? Then just some tone on tone stamping, some glitter and a pretty card is ready:)

Thanks for taking the time to visit. Your comments sure do motivate me to try harder.

Happy Birthday

Hello Everyone! Hope you all enjoyed the NSD yesterday. I never actually knew what it was but yesterday could see lots been going on at different blogs etc.

I made a card as to participate in a few challenges I love.
Paper Smooches Blog: NSD Contest - Card stock only (No pattern paper) they are giving away beautiful paper, which I would so love to try.
CAS-ual Friday: Happy Birthday
Simon Says Stamp Blog: Happy Birthday
2P's NSD Challenge #5: Bright Colors

I used my newest set from Paper Smooches Hubby and Wifey, which I won over at Emily's blog. Thanks Emily and Kim. Its a great set with so many cute and small stamps. I could see some butterflies fluttering as soon as I saw those cute flowers, so I embossed them with white Embossing powder, fussy cut and adhered 2 of these together to give this lovely 3 D look. I used the background stamp sent to me by my sweet friend Marie. Thanks Marie!

Hope you like what I created. Thanks for stopping by:)

Singing in the Rain

I love the song...I'm singin' in the Rain, and when I saw the Jane's Doodles new stamp set, it was perfect. So last week I got the new stamps from my win. Thanks Jane and Judith.

I made the card using The Raindrops set and I have to tell you that these stamps are real good quality. The stamped image is perfect. I made this card for the following challenges:
The Lily Pad blog : Rain Theme
The Young Crafters Challenge Blog: No Coloring:)

I used the glove and Hat from Lawn Fawn stamps. On the blue background, I stamped some Rain drops, which is not quite visible in the photo.

3 countries, 3 designers, 1 stampset

What do you get when you take three designers, from three different countries, and one stamp set? Well, 3 different, great looking cards of course;)

Britta, Marie and I will each be creating a card using the same stamp set – "Critters on the Farm" from Lawn Fawn. We may use sentiments or small details from other stamp sets, but the main focus of our cards will be the "Critters on the Farm" set. On May 10th, we will show our cards on our blogs, and have a little mini blog hop to showcase our designs.

There will also be a prize for one lucky commenter on the hop, sponsored by Lawn Fawn. Thank you Kelly!

We hope to see you back for our mini blog hop showcasing different cards made using "Critters on the Farm" on May 10th!
