Reach for the Sky

Hello All!! It's time for the Lawnscaping Facebook Inspiration team monthly hop. We have a pretty color for you :) This month we have light blue!!
You must be here from Sabine's blog else start from Lawnscaping blog.

I recently got this stamp set and I had a shaker card in mind. So, I just created a watercolor sky and then turned my stamped kites into shaker elements. I really enjoy making shaker cards and my daughter likes to play with them :) I used some Shimmer Spritz Frost onto the sky area as I like the subtle shimmer it gives...

You have to go to Kari's blog from here and she has an amazing creation for you :) Below is the hop order in-case you miss somewhere..

Happy Birthday!

Seems like I use Birthday cards the most :) This is my 2nd. card for today. I got inspired by Winnie&Walter blog challenge.  They are celebrating their 1st Birthday and have so   many lovely challenges. I got inspired by the "Gradient" Challenge with Vanessa and the CAS + freestyle collage with Gayatri!
I don't have many of their stamps yet so I took chance to play with the cut file...I love them and it was fun to use my Cameo again :) I used my Cameo to cut and draw this Awesome flower...if you know me, I love flowers :) Then I sponged some ink onto it and then filled the lines using the black Chameleon detail pen. It comes with 2 tips and the fine .4 mm is just perfect for such smaller areas. I then cut the word happy onto a piece of vellum, again using my cameo...stamped and embossed it using some WOW! Black embossing glitter. For the background I just stamped the word "birthday" repeatedly using a rainbow of colors. Finished it using some Pretty Pink Posh sequins.

Happy Birthday

Hello everyone!

So, for my today's card I got inspired by Winnie&Walter blog challenge.  Well I made 2  cards 2 days back but didn't get time to post them :) Winnie&Walter are celebrating their 1st Birthday and have so  many lovely challenges. I got inspired by the "In Rotation" technique challenge with Kelly and the CAS + freestyle collage with Gayatri!

I used the back of this small stamp from the Big Bang Confetti set and stamped rotating it to create my flowers. I then cut this circle file using my cameo, sorry, I forgot where I got it from. It was a free file. Then I cut the word happy from the cut files which comes with "The Big, The Bold, and the happy" using Cameo and then stamped and embossed the happy word using WOW! embossing powder. I used the inks by Imagine Crafts/ Tsukineko

Hello and Smile!

Yes, that is what I was looking for when I started creating these cards. I was very stressed out as my Cuttlebug broke 2 days back. I was feeling sad as then I realized how much I depended on it :) I feel it's some sort of defect in the material as it shouldn't have broken from where it did.....

Anyhoo! I ordered a new Big Shot yesterday. I am feeling happy but deep down I was missing my bug. Guess what came to my rescue? Making some quick cards. Crafting sure is a stress reliever for me.
Now since the beginning of this year, I have decided to use all my beautiful papers and embellishments, which I keep hoarding :)

For my first card, I used some Heidi Swapp papers from the Dreamy paper pad, Avery Elle: The Everyday collection papers, some embellishments from another of the Heidi Swapp collection. My favorite Delicata Gold and black ink by Imagine Crafts and also the falling hearts stencil by Simon Says Stamp :)

For my 2nd. card, I used Avery Elle everyday collection papers, punchinella, stamps from Technique Tuesday, washi by Lifestyle Crafts, Project life card by Heidi Swapp

I will be adding the supply list later on! Sorry got to go...
