Thank You

Hello Everyone! Today, I have a few cards to share with you. I made them but didn't get time to blog as it's crazy busy here cos of the up-coming summer break. Wish I had more time to play along as lots of ideas are floating in :)
Anyhoo!!! My Favorite Things has "Summer School" theme going on so, I created my card based on 2 challenges: Lesson 4: Balance: Line

Print

I wanted to make a complete CAS graphic card and this was just perfect for me. I used my sentiment as Focal point and the lines immediately draws the eyes to it. T emphasize it more, I used some enamel accents of the same colors as the cardstock.
I used the colors from the MFT color challenge!

Anyhoo!!! My Favorite Things has "Summer School" theme going on so, I created my card based on 2 challenges:  Lesson 3: Movement

First I stamped my butterfly using watercolor and then I created a trail in Rainbow colors using watercolors. This gives perfect movement to the card. This card also is perfect for Rule of Third as my Butterfly and sentiment bot are on sweet spot :)

I am also submitting it for the Simon Says Work it Wednesday: The theme is "Refreshment" and coloring esp. watercolor is refreshing for me during those hot and sunny days. And when it's rainbow colors..it reminds me of rain n cool breeze :)

Supplies: I used my Caran' D Ache Neocolor 2 watercolors along with the suplies below

For my card, I used the jumbo polka dot stencil to dry emboss my mat layer for some extra subtle texture. I used the line stencil and sponged some ink onto it to create my own pattern paper to die-cut the leaves from. I added a tiny gold bow to keep it in trend :)

Birthday Wishes

Hello Everyone! Finally, just in time with a card for the current challenge over at Avery Elle. I had this design in mind as soon as I got my stamp 2 days back but didn't get time :) It really looks better in real life as the muted gray stamping is not much visible in the photo.

Foe my card, I used the leaf stamp from the new Peonies stamp. I stamped the reverse side of it using WPlus9Fairy Dust ink. This is such a soft shade of gray...love it. I then stamped and embossed the right side of the leaf using various colors to create the rainbow effect. I used gold instead of regular yellow for some extra effect to my card :) Love these GORGEOUS colors of WOW! Embossing powders :)

Next few days are going to be super busy, hope I get time to create something. Till later!
