Just Roll with it :)

Hello everyone and happy Sunday! I just realized that Blogger decided not to publish my already scheduled post. So here it is:

It's another Sunday yet and that means it's time for a new Paper Smooches Sparks Challenge! Now we know that you all are very busy around the end of the year, so we have an easy theme: ANYTHING GOES!!

Here's my card:

I used the cute "Calorie Free" stamp set from Paper Smooches. I just love the sentiments with the images, they're so fun :)
For the edges, I used some embossing paste, which I had colored, with a self-made stencil using a die.

For more inspiration, do visit the other DT's blogs!

Holiday Cheer

Hello Everyone! Happy Sunday :)
It's Sunday and that means time for a new challenge at Paper Smooches Sparks. Today we have a Designer Draft Challenge for you, that means a great sketch!

Here is the sketch:

Now you don't have to interpret this sketch with all the layers. I made a CAS card and for my interpretation, I stamped the falling snowflakes in Bokeh effect for the left rectangular panel. For the other 2 vertical panels I stamped and colored the snowmen. Now my glittery snow hill is the horizontal strip Love how it all cam together.

I used my Memento inks for the background and colored in the image using Memento markers. I even colored my twine with them :) For the snow I used some Shimmer Spritz in Frost. It looks very nice in real life. Lastly...the train carrying all those gifts and leaving ho-ho.ho smoke is done using Smitty's ABC

Season's Greetings

Hello Everyone!!!! So excited to share with you my first card as Paper Smooches Sparks DT member :) I love Paper Smooches stamps and dies and with every release this love grows stronger!! I really like what Kim come up with every month. So, being on this team is like one of my dreams come true.

This week at Paper Smooches Sparks, we have "Anything Goes" as our challenge theme. Can it be any easier :)

I used some new stamps and dies and chose to make a winter/snow scene for my card (we already had snow last week...lol)

For my card I stamped, colored and fussy cut the cute snow couple from  Freezy Fellas. I created the watercolor background then stamped the snowflakes from  Fresh Snow  using various inks. Then I die cut the center part using  Quote Tag dies. I used Vellum onto the center square, then I popped the outer side of the die cut using 3D foam. The sentiment from Christmas sampler stamp set. I also used Brilliance inks by Imagine Crfts/Tsukineko. These inks give this card a nice and subtle pearly shine.

Create with 8??

Wondering what's that :) Hello crafty people!!! Well that is the challenge at CAS-ual Friday. So I used their stamp which has No. 8 in literal meaning and also the sentiments are in 8 lines....just perfect. It's been some time that I played with these stamps and the challenge was just superb!!!

So, I created this background and then stamped it using various inks. To give a little festive feel, I added a strip of glitter, keeping the design CAS. Love the result.
