Guest Designer at Virginia's View

Hello everyone! Sorry for the late post. As some of you know my mom had a severe heart attack on Saturday night. It hurts to be so far away from her and not get to talk to her. She is better than yesterday but there is a long way ahead.

I have some posts to share, which I will do slowly as I really don't feel like doing anything at the moment :(

Anyhow, I am so very excited to be a guest at my friend Virginia's challenge blog. She is one super talented lady! The current challenge is all about layers and dimension. I like to in-corporate dimension using various techniques but for today, I made 2 cards...one using only patterned paper kit by Bella Blvd. (That is a surprise for myself), For my 2nd. card, I had to stamp and color :) and I also used some Heidi Swapp Minc papers and did some foiling using Fab Foils by WOW!

Here is a peek of the first card

And this is how my 2nd. card looks (Sorry, I didn't realize and sent the not so nice photo to Virginia) Love these dies and stamps by Winnie and Walter

Check out the supplies on her blog and do play along this awesome challenge.

Hello

Hello everyone! Quickly sharing a card I made for the Imagine Crafts/ Tsukineko blog.
Working with the Gelli Plate is one of the hottest trends right now, and I have to admit that I don’t own one. I’ve really wanted to experiment with the monoprinting technique, and I soon discovered the the IMAGINE Crafts Craft Mat is perfect for achieving the same results. I have a tutorial over at the Imagine Crafts blog HERE.
I used my new Penny Black stamp and the stencil!

Lawnscaping Sketch challenge!

Hello Everyone! Finally, the school holidays are over. We took a small trip for a few days to Europa Park...it's a theme park in Germany and just about 2 hours drive from our home :)
Today, starts the new challenge at Lawnscaping blog and this time we have a sketch for you. Check out for the details on the blog HERE.
I turned the sketch 90 degrees to the left. So the bottom part is water waves. I used the wave stencil by Simon Says Stamp to create this. I used the whale for the circle area and that tiny heart in the bubble is my star part. The 2 rectangles on the top are represented by the Sun and the clouds :)

Hope to see you with your awesome creation at the Lawnscaping Blog :)
Since I made my own background and scene, I am linking my card to the Simon Says Wednesday Challenge.

Love Life!

Hello Everyone! Today, I am up at Lawnscaping blog. As you know our current challenge theme is "Dimension". So I decided to share a card with you showing various ways to get dimension onto you card. And we have a wonderful sponsor for the challenge "Ellen Hutson"

I used embossing paste, die-cut the front panel and used 3D foam to raise it, I also used some textured watercolor paper. The stamped images are on the card base, behind the die-cut window, so that is added dimension :) I really enjoyed creating this card.

Since I have so many different layers and dimension to this card...it is perfect for the challenge at Virginia's View. Love her challenges :)

Here is what I used for my card:
