Exciting News!!!

Hello Everyone!! As the title says, today is a very exciting day for me. Do you wonder why?? Well, I can't wait to share with you all as it's like another of my dreams came true....OK...OK...Here it comes :) I am guest designing at Hero Arts blog today!!! Still feels like a dream :)

Thank you Jennifer, Tami and Hero Arts for giving me this happiness and honor. I want to thank all my friends who helped me grow and kept me motivated. Now, I have to tell you Jennifer and Hero Arts have special place in my heart....Hmmm!!! cos they both are the start of my wonderful journey in the stamping World. About 3 years back, while surfing You Tube, I came across one of Jennifer's video and rest is history:) Now I know that she is not just super talented but also one of the sweetest person too.  My first stamps were 2 background stamps by Hero Arts and that is how I started. Lots have happened since then and I am so happy to be sharing this with you all today!!

I have 2 cards at the Hero Arts blog today, where I use one of the new stencil "Arrow Pattern (SA017)" in 2 ways. I kept almost the same colors, so you can see how a simple change in technique makes the difference. The full supply list and instruction on their blog and also step by step for one of the cards.
Here is what I have created for the post today!!

Thanks

Happy Sunday Everyone!!!It's time for a new challenge at Paper Smooches Sparks. And it's Designer Draft time.

 I like the sketch :)

I got some new pattern papers and wanted to use them, so my card for today has no stamps....can you believe??? I die cut the Duo frame from the pretty floral paper, stacked it twice onto white die-cut, so it looks like a chipboard. Then I cut the thanks using glitter paper and stacked it using 3 more die cut pieces. I did some watercolor wash for the part behind my word. In the end, just a bit of sewing and my card is ready:)

So, I hope now you have marked the challenge in your to do list!!

That's it for me today--but be sure to stop by my talented teammates for more inspiration and leave them some love.

Tomorrow, I have something very special to me on my blog...do come and have a look!!!

Papertrey April Blog Hop

Hello Everyone, I know I know...it's been some time, and YES!!! I am still alive. It was too busy with kids and hubby having holidays and I had to work and help in the school this whole week.
Anyhoo, I quickly created this card for the Papertrey April Blog Hop. I have been thinking about it and today my friend Piali told me that I HAVE to play. Thanks Piali!! So, here is my card inspired by the embroidery! Do you know, I also love embroidery and have done a lot of it and quite difficult too. I think, I will share my bed-cover with you one day!
April-Blog-Hop-Inspiration

I just give a quick light watercolor wash for the background using Memento ink and some Shimmer Spritz. Stamped the flowers using the gorgeous Memento Luxe inks. I made the french knots for the center of my flowers.

Also, I have some happy happenings coming up on my blog soon :) So stay tuned!! Enjoy your weekend!!

Welcome Baby

Hello everyone!! I am at the timeless twine blog today with my creation. This time I am making a shaped card. I love this baby shoe cut file, I used my Cameo to cut it. I used this pattern paper, which I was hoarding for a really long time only because it's double sided and it has some pretty patterns. I love how the twine colors match perfectly and make this card look more pretty :)
Here is a peek for you.

Please leave me some love at their blog. I would appreciate it:)

Best Wishes

Hello everyone!! Today was a beautiful Spring day here, which inspired me to finish this card. I made this stencil background 2 days back but was not able to decide what image to use with it. I saw a tiny bird on my tree today and it just inspired me to use this bird from Hero Arts.
Now here is how I used the stencil . This time I didn't sponge the ink or used embossing paste. I used the stencil as stamp and used the daubers to ink it. I sprayed some water to mix the colors and then flipped it onto the mat layer. It is a bit tricky in the beginning to get it without making a mess but with a bit of practice, it comes out really nice. The effect is very pretty IRL.
I used some Glitter black embossing powder onto my bird...isn't he cute?

Radiant Neon Blog Hop

Hello and Welcome to the Radiant Neon Blog Hop by Imagine Crafts and CardMaker. I love being part of the Imagine Crafts team. This magazine is special and am so very happy and honored to get my work published in there. The blog hop starts at the CardMaker Magazine blog. You should have come here from the talented Allie Gower's blog, if not then start at the beginning HERE.

As the title says, we are showcasing the Radiant Neon inks by Imagine Crafts/ Tsukineko. These are beautiful, rich pigment inks and the colors are amazing. I never thought I could like Neon colors so much :) Below I have linked few of my cards for you to see how beautifully these inks can be used for various techniques.
For today, I just wanted to show you how well these inks blend and the new colors they create when 2 inks layer. I am always inspired by Laura Bassen's plaid backgrounds, so I created mine using masking and inking. Love the effect.

I am submitting this card for the challenge at ABNH as the theme is to create your own background.

Also at the challenge at Little Tangles: Masking and I sure did plenty of masking to create my background :)

Don't you love the colors. Here are all the amazing colors these come in:

Now I want to share some examples, you can click on the photo to go and see the bigger image:
The perfect and crisp stamping result

You can use them as watercolors too. I have a small tutorial for this card, just click on the photo.

Perfect blending on the stamp itself

Hmmm! this post has become long enough :) Kudos to all of you to make it till the end. Now the fun part:

What a hop without prizes ;) Imagine Crafts will be giving away a full set of Radiant Neon inks to one lucky person, and yes, this is an international contest!  All you have to do is start at the CardMaker Blog and then go in order to the next blog where you will collect your "Electric Words" to build a phrase, you will email this phrase to Imagine Crafts (marketing@imaginecrafts.com).  For detail information on the rules please check the Imagine Crafts blog.

Bella Creationz Stamp Release

Hello everyone!!! today I have some fun creations for you using our new Stamp set "Oh Snap". Stacy did an awesome work on this set. I tried the stamps and they give a crisp and clean impression every time I stamped. Great quality for sure and very versatile with all those small stamps to go with the main image. This is how the stamp set looks and you can find it in our STORE. Check out the Timeless Twine Blog for wonderful Inspiration and details by my talented teamies :)

I created these 2 cards for you today!
For the first card, I created this pretty floral background using the flower stamp and my Memento Luxe inks. I then embossed the Polaroid onto Vellum using some black glitter embossing powder. This tag and the sequins are also my Bella Creationz. It was so easy to create a banner out of it.

For my 2nd. card, I just had to play with my watercolor. So I took out my twinkling H2O and created wash of colors in the center and then layered all the images. I also used the tiny bit of washi tape by Pink Fresh Studio....as it really compliments the colors of the background.

With the 2nd. card, I am playing along the challenge at Taheerah's Cure for Monday Blues.

Supplies: Stamp: (Oh Snap!) Bella Creationz; Inks: (Memento Luxe- Angel Pink, Rose Bud, Morocco; Versafine, VersaMark; VersaColor- Turquoise) IMAGINE Crafts/ Tsukineko; Twine: (Pumpkin Orange) Timeless Twine; Twinkling H2O
