Inspired by....

This is my 2nd. post for the day. For Cath (sans CHA) with Love Blog Hop check HERE.

I love challenges at Lily Pad blog and this time its special. Its a new challenge: Virginia's view. Well besides Orange and Pink being my favorite colors ''Pink is my childhood days and Orange from the grown up phase'' That's something new you got to learn about me...lol. Thanks Virginia.

For this card I was inspired by Jill's work, she's so creative and turns white paper into stunning work of Art using colors and distress inks...love love her creations.

Here is the inspiration photo:

My take:

I stamped the beautiful Penny Black flower image with some Antique Linen distress ink and colored over it for the center panel. Some stickels and the twine knots to finish.

Hope you like my creations....see you tomorrow with something special....lol

For Cath (sans CHA) with Love Blog Hop

Hello friends!!! Today I am participating in a special and surprise Blog hop for Cath, who always brings us fantastic inspiration through the Moxie Fab World. We want to wish her a speedy recovery and some smiles.

For some of us like me, who doesn't have access to the latest trends/ supplies in stamping/ Card-making or PC magazines in the market (that's truly a privilege for the friends from US), its a blessing to have Cath fill the void. I remember last CHA was my first one to go to thru Cath's eyes and I enjoyed every single photo/post about it...lol. So here is for you Cath...hope my creation brings you a tiny smile:) You sure are special. Get well soon.

I love those blue Boa around her neck in the photo...so I stamped the feather stamp from Paper smooches on the Duvet ;)
Thanks Lorena and Virginia for the idea and organizing. Hop over to Virginia's blog to see all the lovely cards. It is fun.
I used the sketch from CAS-ual friday for this card. Since I love Moxie fab challenges, I am submitting this card for The cutting and trimming challenge. Oh the peeking hands were bit difficult to cut:)

Masculine Birthday Card

I know I know, its so difficult to make masculine cards for me but as soon as I saw this new challenge at Paper smooches sparks blog, I was kind of clear what I wanted. I need some Birthday cards for next month. Many men in my family have Feb. Birthday. So I took some graphic approach and used the soft pastel colors. I used the rectangle from the Hang ups set.

Moxie Fab World Card Design challenge: Repetition (I repeatedly stamped these rectangle to create this design)

I am really happy with the result and hope you will like it too. Thanks for dropping by:) Dont forget to visit me on the 1st Feb. I have something special for you all...lol.

Oval card

Today I made card for the 2nd. challenge at The Scraphouse challenge blog, the theme is snow...I made snow underneath the image but couldn't take good photo in this grey weather. Oh!!! How we want some snow now. Hopefully tomorrow:) This is my very first card using Magnolia stamp...its a gift from a sweet friend.
I am also submitting this card for the Challenge at The Official Magnolia blog: Oval card and embossing.

Love

Finally I had some time to make this card, which was in my mind for a few days now. I am glad to have made it in time for the CAS-ual Friday challenge.

Black and White are such nice combo and I wanted to make something special. So I used the kissing technique and kissed (of coarse my stamps;) many background stamps from Hero Arts. I could not take a nice photo cos of the weather today but I hope you will like my graphic card.

I am linking my card to Simon says Challenge blog as the theme is anything goes. Thanks for dropping by.

Valentine

My last card for today, which is based on class 8 from Clean and Simple class. Jennifer showed us the Reverse stamping technique and I just love it.

Love

My 3rd. card using the same background stamp like Here. I am submitting it for the final challenge at Wee Memories. I've  always loved Jenny's creations and challenges. The colors are from the challenge at The Ribbon Girls. This goes with the Love My Tape challenge too.

 Here is my take:

Thanks for stopping by.

Fun

Today was quite a productive day. I could finish 4 cards and I am happy with the result too. I used the theme from Clean and Simple card class which is 1 stamp 3 ways.
For my 1st. card, I colored the stamped background using pencil colors on black card. Lovely effect.

For the 2nd. card I used the same Flower wall paper BG and then cut some of the flowers, colored and adhered them using 3 D foam tape. I am submitting it for the Moxie Fab cutting and trimming challenge.

Thanks for dropping by. 3rd card is coming soon.

Love U Always

I made this card using the sketch from Day 1 of the Clean and Simple Class.

I am also submitting it for the Moxie Fab die cutting challenge and ICRC 14

I did some faux stitching using Red pen to balance out the glittery red U and the bling. I am happy with the result and hope you like it too. I love the monochromatic and clean feel of it, which I was inspired by the challenge at Sirstampalot challenge blog.
Thanks for dropping by.

Perfectly Flat cards

I made these for the Day 2 of my Clean and Simple class with Julie. Submitting it to the ICRC14 challenge.

Thou the first card was a bit time consuming because of fine details, I am so much pleased with it. I am submitting this card for the Monochromatic challenge at Sirstampalot challenge blog.

For the 2nd. card I used pencil colors on gray paper.

Thanks for dropping by.

Online Card Class

Finally I got time to make some cards for the Clean and Simple Online Card Class. Its already day 4 but better late then never. I am really enjoying it but somehow not getting enough time to create.
So here is the card for the Class 1 using the sketch by Kristina.

I used 2 stamps from the Valentine Flourish set from Hero Arts to create the masked background. It looks really pretty IRL. Thanks for dropping by.

Purrr-fect

Yup!!! My new Paper Smooches stamps are perfect to make these cute cards. Love how they stamp too. So here is another card I made for the PS Sparks challenge. Love the inspirational photo. Really subtle colors. I made my strip using some water color pencils and water spray. I really like the effect. Since I used my new stamps, I am submitting this for the challenge at Crafty JC blog. I have been thinking about this blog for some time now but did not submit because of time constraints. This year plan to play in at least a few I love.

I enjoyed coloring this cute Kitty and making this card. Hope you will like it too:)
More tomorrow.

Colorful paws

Hmmm!!! Love this title....Why??? because the card I am going to share today has a little story behind it. I use to read this story to my elder daughter when she was small. It was about a bear who was really naughty....so he plays with the paints and say he didnt make the mischief but didnt realize that his colorful paws are all over the place...lol.

Now I got my first Paper Smooches stamps on Friday and the cute doggy from the set reminded me of the naughty bear:) Love these cute images and quality of the stamps. I am sharing my card for the currant PS Sparks challenge and the challenge at Simon says blog, which is to use something new. Since this is a CAS card, its perfect for the Young Crafters Blog challenge.

My card:

Somehow the photo isn't very nice today. The white doesn't look very nice. Pls. click on the photo for a better view.  I will take a new one, if we have Sun tomorrow.
Thanks for dropping by.

Under The Sea

I think I was wrong about my last card being the last one yesterday. I had this idea in my head already but somehow calculated the time difference wrong, so couldnt make this in time. To my surprise, when I checked the LF blog today morning, there was still a few hours left for the challenge and I made this card with all the Sea critters except the Whale. I really like this one a lot as it looks quite like my thought. Now how it took shape is another fun thing. I was starring at this photo by Barb for her challenge and I literally took the graphic elements of 6 blocks n turn them into 6 circles. Then the purple glass with the shadow was the idea behind the bubbles in my card. I am also submitting it for the Young Crafters challenge blog as the theme is CAS.

Hope you all like what I created. Thanks for dropping by.

Farm Pics

My 2nd. new card for the Lawn Fawn challenge. It was so difficult to stop at one, wish I had more time today. I wanted to capture the small farm parts with my polaroid Camera. Like I told you guys in my earlier post, I'd really, really LOVE to be a tiny part of CHA

So here I used  all of my Farm Critters except the mouse. Sentiments are from the same set and critters in the forest. The polaroid frame is from Say Cheese set. I love hearing the swiss bell on the Cows, when I go for my morning walk...so had to put them here too. Love the sheep with all the puffy texture :) Of coarse there is tons of fussy cutting too.

I used Copis and distress inks. Thanks Lawn Fawn for including us in all the fun.

Hello Foxy

This is my first new card entry for Lawn Fawn's fun challenge for a chance to have your card go to CHA.
I've never been to CHA, not just that, actually I've never been to a proper stamping supply store. I have to buy things online as I don't have any shop near me but maybe my card might visit the super cool CHA for me and give me some details and photos;)

Now to my card, I used Critters in the Forest and my new Love and breakfast set. I like the idea of this cute hedgie pushing the B'fast tray to this girl  foxie;) I am submitting it for the CAS challenge at Young crafters unite blog and CraftyJC challenge blog too.

I used copics to color, some perfect pearl on the clouds, glossy accents, distress inks and some flowersoft. I also have a few 3D foam. I hope you like it. Thanks for stopping by.

ICRC 14: Anything goes

My interpretation of the photo. I saw blocks and pink, yellow and blue color with white.

Hope you like my creation. Thanks for dropping by.
