Penny Black Simplicity Sister - You mean the World

Hello everyone! Today I created a card as part of my Penny Black Simplicity Sister post.

Today I have a CAS one layer card for you. I am sharing the negative masking technique. I wanted to keep this card one layer so for added texture, I used the "51-191 Gift Card Pocket" die directly on the cardbase, for embossing. Then, I die-cut the frame from a masking paper. Now instead of using the positive, I used the negative of the mask.  I adhered the negative mask, stamped and embossed the sentiment "30-353 Words of Kindness"and then sponged some ink.
I then die-cut these tiny flower and leaves from the same die set, colored them with Copics and adhered them for a fun splash of color.

Here is a close-up to see all the texture!

Happy Dance!

Hello Everyone! Finally I earned my 5th and last badge for the MFT Camp Create Challenge. I used the "Sensational Sliders" theme.

I am officially in love with this fairy image. This is my 3 rd. card using her :) Anyhoo! I created a mixed media background for her and then made the slider using the fairy image. It's so much fun when she slides that after playing with it while creating it, I decided to give this to my daughter.

I wanted to make a small video but didn't get time...maybe I will add the video later :)

Here is a photo of her sliding half way to the end :)

Now we in Switzerland get the newest My Favorite Release over at the Scraphouse Shop AAAAND that's AWESOME!!

Thank You!

Hello Everyone! Finally I used some of the MFT stamps and dies, which I got a few weeks back.

Now this card was so much fun to create. I tried something different to create a shaker. I used 3 colors of glitter to fill in this die and filled all the tiny areas with separate colors. It was a bit time consuming but I just love the result. I used the emboss resist technique to create the cluster behind my focal shaker.

Isn't this sweet :) It looks so pretty in real life. By the time I finished my cards it was dark, so it shows in the photo :(

Glitter and Rainbows

Hello Everyone! Finally I used some of the MFT stamps and dies, which I got a few weeks back. It was so much fun as I haven't done this technique in a while.

First, I kept my card one layer, which is easy to post overseas.
I started with sticking some double sided adhesive sheet to white cardstock. Then I removed the backing on one side and applied some clear glitter. Now, I stamped my images and colored them using copic markers. I really love the subtle n soft glittery effect. To create the background, I cut a cloud mask and sponged the clouds, another technique which I use to do long back but haven't done recently...lol

Hello

Hello Everyone! I got this cute and adorable fairy image a few days before. Now we in Switzerland get the newest My Favorite Release over at the Scraphouse Shop AAAAND that's AWESOME!!

So for this card, I simply sponged the background. Stamped, colored and fussy cut the fairy image. I stamped, colored and fussy cut the flower TUTU of her dress and adhered it for added dimension. Now to the interesting part. I die-cut these Birch trees and added various dimension of 3D foam pad. This gives a wonderful movement to the card and extra dimensions, which looks awesome in real life.
I used my Copic markers for coloring :)

I am playing along with the MFT Camp Create Challenge and used the "Delightful Die-cutting" theme.

Hello

Hello Everyone! I got this cute and adorable fairy image a few days before. Now we in Switzerland get the newest My Favorite Release over at the Scraphouse Shop AAAAND that's AWESOME!!
So I had to play with it. I created this CAS card with keeping the fairy light colored and the background around it a bit darker. This gives such a fun, soft and dreamy look, which is perfect for this kind of images.
I colored it all using my Zig Clean color real brush markers. And did you notice, I stamped her in purple :)

I am playing along with the MFT Camp Create Challenge and used the "Watercolor Wonder" theme.

Sugar Pea Designs June Product Release Day 1

Hello and welcome to the Day 1 of the SugarPea Designs June Release blog hop. Each day this week, we will be sharing projects created using the new release.
Today we are showcasing a pretty new sentiment set, it's perfect for birthdays and other celebrations! We are also showcasing 2 new dies and a brand new paper pad!

There is so much to share so I will get right to my projects!

Here is what I created:

For my first 2 cards, I used the same stamps and dies as I was having too much fun :) If you know me, I love creating shaker cards and that was actually the starting point. Then comes the Rainbow trend...so I combined the two :)

Once I finished my first card, I saw this gorgeous ink color and then had to play with it. I used delicata gold and this pretty coral pink color by Altenew.

So for my 3rd. card, I just wanted to play with the gorgeous Patterned papers, which we are releasing. It have fun colors and patterns. And those banner dies are simply awesome. Do you see that tiny star confetti in the background, well that's a PEEK for you for what's coming in a day or two ;)
