Smile-Laugh-Enjoy

Its been raining again...so to cheer my mood up, I made this card using bright and cheerful colors...and above all love this sentiment. Now this card really makes me smile..Hmmmm!!! Why? Cos my husband bought this small sheet of Rub-ons for me from his visit to US. He took 45 minutes from his busy office schedule to go to Michaels for me, unfortunately he's not a crafty person at all and got all confused with what I need as he couldn't find anything from my list...lol. So he bought couple of things on his own and said making a innocent face...I thought you will like it. I did not know what they were till I saw the challenge;) Oh!! and I do love it and am so happy with the result too.
So my CAS card for the challenge at my favorite CAS-ual Friday, which I am just in time for
Wee Memories challenge blog and for the challenge at Lovely n sweet Yvonne's blog with her guest Lynnda, I think I am not going to stop till the challenge is over:)

 My take on it
The focal florals and the sentiment words are all Rub-on. To finish, I added a bit of green embroidery floss. I was quite tempted to use some blings but it's a CAS card...so less is more;)
I am also submitting it for the challenge at Simon Says Stamp And Show: Anything Goes

I hope you like my creation. TFL and leaving your love.

Enjoy the Summer...

YAY!! 2nd. card for today. Unfortunately we are having a rainy spell but it is suppose to get better by Thursday. Anyhow, I enjoyed coloring this lovely stamp from penny Black and felt as if these mice are surely enjoying the Summer hiding and playing around with the watering can...lol. I am entering this card for the challenge at Penny Black blog summer, Penny Black all sorts as this scene is in the flower garden. Since it is a CAS card with a twist, its just perfect for the challenge at Yvonne's blog by her guest Lynnda. I love CAS and cant stop...lol.

I made this card using Acetate and it was quite an task to capture the lovely Paisley bg stamp, stamped with white onto the Acetate. I colored the focal image with Copics.

I hope you enjoy this creation as much as I had fun coloring it. TFL

Just a Splash!!!

Splash!! oh not at the pool cos its been raining here for days now and have become a bit cold. I was talking about Splash of color!!!..lol. Thats the theme at The Play Date Cafe ch.#91
I love their challenges and the Twinery twine, who are sponsoring the challenge this week.
 My card:

This card is made using 3 layer, which are adhered using 3 D foam. Lovely dimension but difficult to take photo of. For the first layer, I stamped the background using Wplus9 border stamp, then cut the flower using PTI dies. To give that splash of color I used the Twinery's Twine in mandarin. Love the effect. I am also submitting this card at the Botanical Moxie fab challenge. Thanks for dropping by.

Happy Lollipop Day!!

I never knew such a day existed...how sweet!!! Well that's not only sweet, there is also a sweet line of stamps called Lollipop by Lori designs. Cute cute images for every occasion. Just head to her blog and may be you will get lucky too:) See for yourself.

Babe the Piper!!!

Hello my friends of the bloggy world!!! Here comes my Hello all wet (we are having continueous rain for last 3 days)...send some sunshine my way. I am sure the friends in US who could go to CHA are really enjoying themselves. Cant wait to hear about it from them.
So here I want to share a card with you, which actually has a story behind it. I used Lawn Fawn's Critters on the farm stamps. When Kelly from Lawn Fawn introduced this set on her blog and I saw those mice...it took me to my childhood story of the Pied Piper, which I read infinite nos. of times...lol. Then comes the little cute piggy which reminded me of The Babe movie;)) That's how "Babe the Piper" was born

So I combined both the themes and created this scene. Talking about scenes, well its different then what my younger daughter creates when she wants a toy in the shop...lol;) These are the challenges I combined:
Lawnscaping Challenge#14 (Stamp a scene)
Forever Friends ( Not square card and an Animal)

So, here takes the Babe all the farm critters back to the Barn, with his hypnotizing music. I applied some white flock to the sheep and it looks really amazing in real. For the grass, I did some masking and distressing. I also created the sheep and mice with reverse stamping technique on tissue (To make it facing right, I stamped on a piece of tissue paper, colored them with copics, then glue the correct side to a piece of white cardstock to make it sturdy, it ends up with the sheep n mice facing to the right) There is lot of dimension and fussy cutting on this card, may be its visible in the side view.
Finally seeing this scene, my younger one wants it on her wall, so i am going to change this card to a wall frame to hang on her wall. I will share that photo when its finished. Hope you enjoyed this long post. TFL

Sweet CAS-ual Friday

Here I am, after a wonderful weekend. Why was it wonderful, you may think?? Well on Saturday I got a chance to meet my sweet friend Agata, whome I met thru Hero Arts flickr group. Even thou we both are in Switzerland, we are 2 and half hours long drive away. Wish we were living near by. It was like we knew each other for a long time and her kids are super cute. I will post our pics. later.

Now talking about sweet...I had this idea in that tiny creative part of my brain...lol, since last week but got the time to play with my stamps today. Love the outcome. I made this card for 2 of my favorite challenges:
CAS-ual FridayCreate a Clean And Simple project using a sweet or a treat

Naughty...

Yup!!!Thats the title of my 2nd. layout I made for my younger daughter.I am really enjoying making these 12 by 12 pages.
Its my younger daughter, I think its also the 2nd. child...she is naughtier than my elder one...lol. When she was 3 months old, she use to enjoy pulling her sisters hairs and also showing her tounge. It was such a sweet time, we use to enjoy it so much.

I am playing along with the challenge at Yvonne by her guest Lynnda. Since the theme is  anything goes at Simon says...I want to play along with them too as I am really impressed with the store's service and customer service. The colors are from EAD challenge blog.

Hope you like it. Thanks for leaving your love.

My first Page

I made my very first LO. I actually  never made any LO before. My lovely and sweet friend Agata helped me regarding the photo printing. Thanks Agata.
So finally here is my page about my elder daughter. I had to use the color ORANGE and a 12 inch square in size. I wrote the sentiment by hand as I still have to learn a lot before I can do everything on computer and at the moment time is really scarce.

Now keep it to minimal is what I like the most and that is the challenge at Yvonne's blog. Hope you like it. Thanks for visiting.

Colour! Or is it Color?

Yes! This is the title of my post as I won a spot in this class here by Nic. She is wonderful and very talented. Go and check out her blog. I made these Tags as part of pre class. We had to make tags with the rainbow colors and here is what I came up with. I was inspired by the summer theme at the Weememories challenge.Since there is celebration of Stamp it at Moxie fab...I am submitting this one at their blog too.

I used lots of techniques and enjoyed making these. Hope you like them too.

Pearl-fect Birthday

YAY!!! 2nd. post in 1 day but its kind of not finished as I could not take the photo of inside cos while taking photo, it became dark outside due to rain. Anyway, I will post it later. I also want to share some happy news which I got yesterday and today.
I made this card for the challenges at:
Lawnscaping challenge (don't forget the inside)
Wee Memories summer time challenge, which reminds me of beach
MoxieFab Stamp it!
Edited- Forgot to link before, since it was a month long challenge and it was due to be posted by today in my calender.
Jay Gee's photo inspiration

For my card, I distressed the background with blue distress inks and used perfect pearl spritzt. Then I stamped some bubbles and embossed a part of it using holographic embossing powder. I used Kraft paer as sand. Now stamped and cut the shell, adhered it using some 3d foam on the upper part. In the center adhered different colors of pearls.

I wrote the sentiment myself and used some of my favorite twine for the banner.

I tried to take photo of inside but couldnt get a nice one as it was pretty bad weather today. Will try to take a nice one again tomorrow.

Well here I got little creative and thought out of the box (love it, when my little brain works;)I made the pennants with the shell stamp. I made the treasure box using the Hay from farm critters and do you see the lock...its made with the Cow bell;) Hope you like it. I really love these stamps, great quality and cute images.

Now on to some happy news sharing:
My card won at the Young Crafter Unite Blog hop and was Britta's top choice here. Thanks Britta and Marie.
This card won me some Penny Black stamps ;) at Copic Creations.
My card was featured at Penny Black Stamp blog Flickr Friday feature. YAY!!!
I was one of the V.I.P at the CAS-ual friday challenge#8:))

Nature Bird

Hi friends, today I want to share this card, which I made for the Penny Black (to create circle card), Penny Black all sorts (flower power) and Moxie fab (Stamp it!! Week) challenge.
For this card I made the focal image only with stamping and watercoloring with pencils and distress inks. I then applied some perfect pearls.Love the shimmer it gives. I did lot of fussy cutting for the layers of different levels using 3d foam, which is visible in the closeup.

Thanks for dropping by and leaving some love.
